Location, quietness and comfort

Was nervous about leaving door key in lock as the door would automatically lock and we wouldn't have been able to get in.

Good location near shops, pubs and footpaths.

Bit dark in the lounge at times.

Great location and the apartment was spacious.

The apartment was grubby. There were dirty glasses in the cupboard. There must’ve been at least 15 pots and pans shoved into the corner cupboard. I tried to use one of them and it had food stuck to it. If there are that many pans (more than anyone could ever need), it is very difficult to check that they are all clean. Also, a huge toenail clipping fell out of the bed sheets when we stripped them. Clearly not ours. Grubby marks on the walls and not a single bedside lamp that worked was frustrating. Instead, torches were provided. Just get lamps that work! We are paying guests! Although less critical to the lack of cleanliness, the mismatched furniture, linen, curtains etc. throughout the apartment along with the grubbiness and lack of warmth/ personalisation in the greeting message just leaves you feeling a bit undervalued as a customer. It’s a shame as the apartment has the potential to be a phenomenal stay. A tiny bit more on making people feel welcome and valued, cleaning properly and this place could be exceptional.
