All in all, a very relaxing week away. Would definitely go back!
The inside of the cottage was clean and spacious. The views all around the property were fantastic. The bed (we only used the double) was really comfortable and we slept well. We sat on the bench outside and watched the amazing night skies. A very relaxing and quiet place to stay. It had everything we needed.
The the inside of the rubbish bin in the kitchen was filthy (after removing the bin liner) so we cleaned it before we left. The chopping knives were pretty blunt and could do with sharpening!new ones. I would recommend reversing into the driveway as your view of the road when leaving is severely impeded. Could definitely do with a traffic mirror.

The property was very well situated about a mile and a half from the coast .It was very clean , cosy and had excellent appliances.
The driveway exit is backwards on to a busy road so it is a 2 man job but doable.

A quiet and tranquil place to stay with fabulous views.
We loved the decor of the cottage, nice warm central heating, fabulous views from all of the windows, and very comfortable beds. The duck egg blue kitchen with its end sun room was just perfect!
We found it difficult to drive out onto the busy road which leads to the caravan park. A large reversing mirror opposite the drive would be very useful. We found the washbasins in both bathrooms to be too small.

Peaceful location but not too far from Dumfries.
Very comfortable beds. A lovely peaceful location. There is a different view from every window. The kitchen turns into a conservatory which works very well.
The downstairs toilet is a little cramped although it is good to have two toilets in the first place.
