Purgatory Resort has year-round, family-friendly activities, including a mountain coaster, biking, and skiing. Numerous hiking trails surround the area as well. The town of Durango is just 24 miles away, where you can take full advantage of mountain recreation.

We had a wonderful stay at the Silverpick! It was the perfect location with enough space for our family of 4. We especially loved the mountain views from the patio and bedrooms. We will definitely be staying here again!

Plenty of room for a family of 5. Everything we needed was there. Perfect distance to Purgatory Ski Area. Rental is an upstairs unit so be prepared to walk up stairs.(Random ski tip: If you are skiing, we highly recommend paying a little extra at the ski resort so they can hold your skis so you don’t have to lug them around.)
