We only stayed one night and got in later than we thought. We had to leave very early the next morning so we didn't get to really experience the amenities. It is a little hard to find but the property contact answered right away and lead us straight there. It would help a lot if there were house numbers on the house. :) It is 10 minutes from the Asheville airport so very convenient.

My sister is getting married and we decided to have her bachelorette weekend in Asheville. We’re not really party people so the atmosphere was awesome for us. The house is decorated with cool and fun artwork which we absolutely loved. I was a little worried that there were gonna be tons of houses around us, but it was actually kind of secluded, which was really nice. The second day there, we all wanted to take showers but there was a problem with the hot water heater. I texted the owner to let him know and he came by and fixed the problem which was great! He was very responsive and really nice! We had such a great time in this cozy little house. Thanks for such an amazing stay!

The house was very clean and cozy. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable because my friends and I are 40+ years old and we had some back pain. Other than that, the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The proximity to Asheville and Mills River was perfect. I would recommend this property to folks looking to enjoy a weekend in the Asheville, NC.

This property will meet some guests needs. I suggest reading all of the reviews carefully. I traveled with 3 others and we checked out early. 3 votes to leave and one neutral that later said she was happy we left. Owner is quick to communicate and kind enough to offer a 1 night reimbursement. (Have not received 3 days out).

The Groove was a little difficult to find; set in a wooded area on a gravel drive behind other homes. The outside of the house could use some care. The front post light did not work. Inside, the ceiling light in the hallway did not work. There were minimal kitchen utensils and no kitchen towels or dishcloths. We did not require heat or air conditioning during our five-night stay. It was easy to communicate with the owner. We enjoyed the ecclectic decor. Overall, the property was acceptable, but could use some TLC.

The house wasn’t hard to find, but there should be a sign to make it easier. It has a bohemian vibe which was cool. It needs a deep cleaning there were cobwebs, dirty windows and the porch could’ve used a cleaning. The ceiling fan in one of the beds shook terribly bad it seemed dangerous. There is no central air but surprisingly it wasn’t hot. There is an air conditioner in living room and floor fans in every bedroom. If u want to cook bring your own stuff this house has zero cookie sheets, and no spatulas or oven mitts. This house was ok for one night and did work for our family. Host was easy to get a hold of.

Asheville Farm House

This property was a little difficult to find. It's on a gravel road behind 4 homes that are not marked clearly. While there are woods all around, the other homes are visible from the windows so there wasn't a lot of privacy. Especially if you open the windows. The climate mid June was comfortable as long as the fans were running in the bedrooms. The best room was the screened in porch. It is not one of the designated 3 bedrooms but there was a bed there. Listening to the birds in the morning was pleasant. I'm not sure if the home has central air or not as a thermostat had tape over it. The master bath could use updating as well as the mattresses. The beds were acceptable as we only spent one night after a family wedding we attended. We only used the refrigerator so I can't comment on the kitchen or any of the amenities there. It was clean and the proximity close to what Asheville is known for.
