Terrific Very Comfortable, Dog-Friendly Place

Host is great! House is well appointed and in good repair. Yard is great. Grill, etc, is right there on the deck and ready to use. Yard is well enough fenced to contain a dog. Decor is endearingly quirky. We would be happy to stay there again!

The gate to the backyard/garage is extremely difficult to open and should at least have a small wheel added underneath. There are a lot of steps, including that the main part of the house is up a flight of stairs. However, that is fair since it is mentioned in the description, and also because the downstairs bedroom can be reached with no steps by going through the garage. The way the front door opens onto a small landing that only offers an up staircase and down staircase made bringing luggage in and out a bit awkward, but once you get used to it, it's ok. A piece of furniture broke right before we left, but the host dealt with the problem in a very constructive way.
