Apartment Perla

The apartment was spacious, clean, and beautifully arranged, with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and a practical small kitchen. The self-check-in worked perfectly, and the cleaning lady was very kind and helpful. When I mentioned that I didn’t have cash for the city tax and asked about a bank transfer, they kindly waived the charge, which I appreciated. Overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant in every way. I would stay here again.

The property was a bit difficult to find, and the hallway area looked unsafe and unfinished due to renovation work, which gave a poor first impression.

When you enter building, construction work puts you off, safe?

The location is super convenient, close to train station and old town. Apartment is well planned, small but comfortable enough for one person. The kitchen is well stocked to cook a simple meal.

This is a hard one. While the apartment is renovated and comfortable the entry lobby is shocking. It’s a construction site, with scaffolding holding up the ceiling, wires hanging off walls, building debris on the ground etc. It is very very dusty too. Upon seeing the lobby before getting into the apartment I contemplated leaving but after learning about the 2020 Zagreb earthquake I ‘forgive’ the situation it was in. But really that is a good 5 years ago, surely this work should be completed before letting the apartment out.

The location was the only advantage.

We booked this room because of the good reviews. However the reality was far from that. The room wasn't clean. There were spider webs in every high corner of the room. The walls were awfully dirty. There were stains on the doors and the window blinds. The bathroom was dirty too. Perhaps the room hadn't even been cleaned for our arrival, except for the sheets. We couldn't even step on the floor because of the whole image of the room. Also i would like to note that the city tax according to the booking app is 1€ per night per person. The owner asked for 1,5€ per night per person. We communicated and she cleared out that there is an increase on the tax,and we weren't informed for that before. To sum up, the stay was very unpleasant and by far the worst we have had for a long a time. I wouldn't recommend for sure!
