Marina View Apartment

Location ok but needed transport to heart of Airlie beach

Actually the accomadation is better than my expecation, it's more like home not hotel. Diane is really nice,she will send you picture guide of how to find the key before you arrive, you can find everything you need in this room and you can cook by yourself, it's not far away from Airlie Beach, walk around 20minutes,really quiet. Near coral sea marina port, some of my day tour starts near this port, really convenient

Apartment was comfortable very well appointed with coffee pods, variety of teas and a welcoming packet of tim-tams in the fridge which was a nice touch. Pantry staples in abundance, the bathroom had variety of shampoos, sunscreen and plenty other products. Apartment was on ground-floor close to the pool.

The lack of privacy at the front of unit. Unfortunately, although quiet the front patio is facing the dead end street with the entrance of underground car park in front of unit. There is quite a lot of movement from cars but also continuous walkers/runners using the walking track from Airlie to Cannonvale across the road.

Clean and modern property

Unfortunately the lack of phone and internet signal was disappointing. We were in town for a wedding and had a lot of trouble organising plans. The mobile wifi is appreciated however it was poor also. Perhaps an option to pay a small fee to use the Marina Shores wifi would be an option offered to guests who really need phone service during their stay. The room is right next to the cleaners facilities of the hotel. The cleaners were quite noisy and rude to listen to right next to the bedroom. Otherwise the other was lovely and the room clean and modern. The owner had snacks and milk in the fridge which was appreciated. Soap and other toiletries were available in the bathroom.
