About this house rental
Beautiful independent cottage in Sant 'Angelo Romano (Guidonia 4 km) with stunning views of the surrounding hills. It is simply but comfortably furnished and distributed on two levels. It has an equipped outdoor area and a private pool. A trampoline, a multipurpose field (soccer, tennis, basketball), bowling and archery, an outdoor pool, an outdoor kitchen and a wood-burning stove are at guests' disposal. Ideal for a vacation of relaxation and entertainment, but also as a starting point to visit the main tourist places: Rome (30 km), golf course with 18 holes (12 km), Lake Albano (40 km) for sailing and canoeing, the river Aniene (15 km), ideal for rafting, the beautiful nature reserve of Marcigliana (10 km), the thermal baths in Tivoli (5 km), Rieti (67 km), Terni (95 km). On request cooking classes, cook at home, tasting of typical products, massages, tennis lessons, archery, bowling, billiards (payment on site).

8 of us stayed for 3 nights. There was so much to do and see on the property, the castle village on mountain and the town. Beautiful views! Needed more toilet paper and hand soap otherwise perfect property to stay in!

We had a wonderful stay! There are a few things we as Americans aren’t accustomed to that we had to over look but over all, this place is lovely.
Being surrounded by olive trees, lemon trees, and walnut trees was a real treat! Our kids loved the recreational activities. I would encourage the hosts to update some of the sports equipment as they are a bit old and need some replacing.
As far as the house goes, it’s sufficient for a large group. The kitchen is clean and accommodating, nice long table.
I would recommend new mattresses for the full size beds - they were quite uncomfortable. I would also HIGHLY recommend new bedding for the full size beds as they were old and beaded - also quite uncomfortable to sleep on.
As Americans we like having toilet seats on our commodes but we got used to not having them here. We also had to get used to the shower flooding the bathroom floor whenever we took a shower.
The only other thing to note for the host was we all felt there was a mildew issue downstairs near the hall and stairs. Fortunately we were able to sleep with windows open to keep it aired out but I recommend having that addressed.
