Amazing villa surrounded by the greenery of the Marcigliana Park, only 15 km away from Rome and 6 km away from the motorway exit Settebagni. In order to reach the Villa, you need to drive 3 km through the natural reserve.
The Villa is located on the top of one of the hills of the Marcigliana Park, having a stunning overview over the countryside and over Rome.
The Villa is Entirely located on the ground floor, and is composed by a large living room and dining room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 main bedrooms That share a covered patio, with a panoramic view over the surrounding countryside and over Rome . The two main bedrooms have Their Own bathroom inside, Whereas the third bedroom has the bathroom just outside the room.
All the floor of the villa is made of Neapolitan terracotta tile.
The Villa is surrounded by a wide private garden with a swimming pool open from late April till the beginning of October.

You need to reach the Villa by private vehicle, suitable for cover approximately 3 km of country road inside the park. The villa is on one level, is composed of a large living room, dining area, full kitchen, three double bedrooms, four bathrooms and large garden with exclusive access to the salt water pool.

Thank you so much for a lovely break. We have always wanted to visit Rome and this was the perfect base. It was very peaceful and remote yet only 30mins drive into Rome. Loved seeing the wild boar in the evenings, and a visit from a friendly fox! Please note that you will need a high clearance vehicle to manage the track to the property.

La villa est impressionnante située sur une Coline surplombant Rome avec vue sur la coupole de Saint Pierre au loin.Les photos ne reflètent pas complètement le charme de cet endroit .On se croit presque invité chez des amis .Mobilier ancien, tableaux charmants .....Cotta au sol , poutres au plafond....Beaucouo de place dans la villa et dans le parc Tout n est pas parfait , mais chez des amis non plus.Et un hôte attentionné qui parle parfaitement le français.

This , for us was a very special holiday. The property is a grand house with tall ceilings and a great sense of space. Set in a large garden of about 2 to 3 acres, on a hill and surrounded by tall trees with views over the whole of the city of Rome. (You can make out St Peters dome)
There is a good sized pool surrounded by large paved areas for dining/sunbathing. There are also other areas where you can dine.
The approach to the property takes you off the tarmac and onto a rough track, here you leave the bustle of modern life, there are no people but you may see wild boar. The track takes about 15mins to cover. We had an ordinary small hire car but would advise a car with more ground clearance, small suv perhaps.
At the beginning of the track, near the main road, there is a farm which makes cheese from sheeps milk, dont pass up this opportunity..gorgeous.
Trips into Rome take about 40 minutes, make sure you know where the car parks are before you leave.
The owner Francesco was very helpful and obliging.
We will go again.
