Very clean and spacious appartment. Everything is provided and in great condition. The owner is kind and friendly. The views are spectacular.
The entrance is difficult and steep by car.

We chose this place as a pit stop before the Stelvio pass climb. Nicely located just a few km from the start of the pass in a very quiet part of the town. The room was really huge and clean with a small kitchenette. They have a big property with horses and hen.
Although language was an issue, the hostess was very kind to share the restaurants nearby which was a great help. They have place to park the car.
I saw some comments about the access to the place. We too found it tough to make a U-turn to make the steep descent. A tip for the future travellers. The place can also be accessed by another approach which runs parallel to the railway track behind the farm. This can be accessed by turning into the bus station a few hundred meters before the place on the left and using the road parallel to the main road.

The place was very good, very quiet and comfortable. The appartment had everything you could imagine, very great views from the top floor and you have the option to park the car inside the place. We chose this appartment for climbing the Stelvio Pass and was a good option.
The only "bad" thing was the access to the place, it's in the main road and it could be "dangerous" if you want to enter the place without paying attention to the other cars.

The property located near the border of germany is the property is overlooking the passo stalvio mountain. The property is sorrounded by trees and theres a barn with chickens roaming around and horses too. Its clean and complete amenities I reccommend to visit the restaurant about 10 minutes walk
Theres a Language barrier as the host dont speak English

The apartment was 5 star. We loved the space and the well equipped kitchen. The shower was very good. The owner was extremely helpful. No complaints.
The entry off of the main road down to the apartment. If turning from the right it was ok but from the left it was challenging with a very tight turn and drop off. Ok if no other traffic

Very nice and clean accommodation. The host, she was very nice and helpful. In the morning she brought breakfast to our room and it was delicious and rich! The apartment was spacious, clean, we would be very happy to return back. Thanks to the owner for everything.
One small hint for those arriving by car: the entrance to the apartment house is directly from the main road, follow the sign with the name of the apartment on the barn right next to the main road and there is a steeper descent from the road down to the apartments right there :-)

Lovely farm ambience with horses, playful kitten and ponies and shady garden. Breakfast outside was very nice. Excellent location right on cycle path via Claudia Augusta, but a small sign to Pferderhof Anstein would make access via book road easier.

Close to the Stelvio, lovely host.
The house is next to a busy road and also railroad tracks. No airconditioning and due to traffic it is not possible to keep the window open at night. Even with the proximity to Stelvio, the price seems a bit too high for what you're getting.

Very clean and tidy, lots of space. It had everything you would need from an apartment. The family were friendly and helpful. We were climbing the Stelvio Pass on our bikes 🚴🏻♀️🚴. Great location if you want to cycle up and then down!

the view and location

All was exceptional, just the arrival was a small problem, because it is quite unexpectable that it is necessary to turn from the main road down a steep slope evidently into the yard of some farmstead. Maybe, the place of entry into the yard could be better indicated.

Everything was good. Staff did not speak english but we managed to get around.
Wifi is very slow. Entrance to the parking is a bit sketchy and dangerous.

The apartment was spotless, roomy with great Mountain views, and had everything we needed. The heated floor in the bathroom is wonderful in cold months. Even though it’s outside of town there is good restaurant right on a little lake in walking distance! The host takes good care of her many farm animals and her guests. Homemade breakfast can be ordered with fresh eggs from the farm. If your kids love animals and pony rides, this is heaven for them. (and very nice for you too) highly recommend staying here! 🐴👌
nothing negative

The apartment was really comfort and cozy! It was also very clean and it had all the facilities to accommodate for many days. Irmi, our Host, was really nice and gentle. Excellent place to go with your partner or family with children!

The apartment had everything you could need for a stay. From oven, cooking top, coffee machine , kettle , microwave and toaster ( which we used none of ) was all there and in good condition. Beds were comfortable and the place was very clean and warm.
The owner was so nice and breakfast was very good. For kids this was a paradise. There are ponies, horses , sheep, chickens, geese, rabbits and a cat. We were also very fortunate that only about two weeks before we came the rabbits and chickens had babies and the lady brought our children to see and hold them. We will definitely return here.
The only thing I could say negative about the place is the entrance and exit of the premises. It is onto a main road and is a little difficult to get out safely but if you take your time then it is fine.

Ansteingut is a small biological farm. Eggs and apple juice are homemade. A lot of different animals on the farm. Irmi, the owner, is fantastic. The views of the surrounding peaks are stunning. The apartment is just perfect. Train station nearby, where the train stops for Merano. Our stay was to short.

it was challenging in winter with icy roads to get onto the property through a steep ramp with a sharp turning circle from the main road

very comfortable apartment, it has everything you need, super clean, very relaxing, it's a farm with animals, great and big garden, the host was incredibly kind and friendly. I'd really recommend it if you want to do the "Passo Stelvio", as it's very close.
Maybe too close to the main road and the railtracks, it's not close to anything really. However, the place is not noisy at all. We slept quite well there.

It was an OK stay for 1 night. Nice farm house with playground where kids can play in the morning with a little interactions with the animals.
The host was unable to communicate much in English. The house should probably have insect net installed at the window since it is a farm house, too many flies disturb a good night sleep for all of us. We were unable to put anything in the fridge as it smells!

A wonderfully located guesthouse, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly, they explained to us exactly where we can eat and take a walk with young children. An ideal garden for children to admire the farm animals!
there were no things that disturbed us.

Very big accommodation with kitchen and all the stuff you need. Big recommendation for cyclists who want to ride Stelvio or Reschenpass.
Breakfast on demand for a few bucks with great quality!
Thanks so much!
