The Pearl

The location was perfect for exploring Struisbaai. Walking distance to harbour and various eateries and short drive to supermarkets and nearby Agulhas. The apartment was part of the owner's house but you have a private entrance to come and go as you please. The apartment was simple and modern with nice furnishings. There was ample for 2 and can definitely fit 3 people. The apartment also comes with a small kitchenette with some basic cooking implements, enough for assembly a simple meal but not suitable for heavy cooking. The owner also provided a nice fruit basket with some snacks, which was a nice touch. The apartment was clean and comfortable although it can get a bit cold during the cold months without a heater. A small radiator is provided though, and is helpful to keep the bedroom warm.

It would definitely be a plus if there were more hooks or additional towel rails in the bathroom. This will help to dry the bath towels quicker for reuse if guests are staying more than a day. I also found the bed a little short. I'm only 1.68m but when I sleep on my side, I find my toes overhanging the edge of the bed 😆 It wasn't uncomfortable, just a little weird

Neat, clean and comfortable space. Loved rhe attention to detail. Hosts were warm and welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Clean and bright

The small bed. It was standard size. I battled to sleep with the small duvet. Tv only DStv. We don’t watch tv, but others might The cold water bottle was impossible to open.

This is our new home away from home! Love everything about this place.
