Auberge de Keranden

This is one of the most unique places we stayed at! It is one of the oldest houses in the town, located within easy walk from the center. The house itself is beautiful and has a lovely, peaceful garden in the back. I wish we had more time to sit and think, or read a book out there... There us very comfortable parking on the premises. While the exterior of the house is lovingly preserved, the interior is modern and designed with very good taste. Jean Michel and Marie were extremely friendly and meeting them made us really happy. They gave us a lot of valuable information. There are only two rooms, so the experience is very personal. Breakfast was excellent and its location in the living area of the buildings is unique, homey, and feels like a taste of historical times. It is a very special place, with lovely hosts and great value for money. We highly recommend it and would love to come back!

The only things to note are that the bedroom is upstairs and entrance plus bathrooms are on the ground floor. There is a Dyson cooler fan in the bedroom, but in August it was still a bit hot. Perhaps an electric fan or mosquito nets to allow opening the windows at night. These are truely minor things to the overall experience

TOUT !! L'accueil des propriétaires étaient sympathique, les informations pertinentes et d'une gentillesse absolue. Le logement est bien conçu. La chambres est spacieuse, le jardin magnifique, le domaine en lui même est un petit havre de paix, dommage nous y sommes restés qu'une seule nuit !!
