Mantilaria

This guesthouse is very close to the station, local attractions, and hiking trails. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. One morning, she unexpectedly brought us a few slices of pound cake, which was such a lovely surprise. There was also jam and butter in the refrigerator. The guesthouse was spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of pots and cooking utensils. It was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a peaceful vacation. Before we left, the owner even gave us a bag of gifts, which made our stay feel especially warm and memorable!

The bathroom was quite small, and we did see a few tiny cockroaches. The hair dryer was also quite small, so it was a little difficult to dry our hair.

Got some basic breakfast with fresh bread and little jams in the fridge. Seems like a proper local-family-run bussiness.

Bad smell in the kitchen cabinet and very limited space and equipemnt hardly invite you to cook so the kitchenette only good for making coffee/tea to go with the breakfast, but has no tea mugs. Long hair of previous visitors on the floor. The pictures are not up to date and certainly look better than reality. 55 m2 clearly include the yard.

- Exceptional position: a quiet spot a walk away from the bus station, the centre and the caldera views. - Spacious room with a well equipped self catering/dining corner. - Fantastic host: her warm welcome, care and generosity will stay with us long after leaving the island.
