A great stay, a very friendly and hospitable welcome and great facilities.

In general, our stay was great. The host was very friendly and helpful. Her English was really good, above expectation in France. She helped us with activities in the region and gave us tips for restaurants. The room was spacious and the bed, although it was smaller (140 mm in with) than we're used to, was good. The B&B is a10 minute drive away from the city centre of Epinal, and located in an old building with a lot of character. In the morning, the breakfast was more than expected, with fresh bread and freshly cut fruit. The homemade jelly/marmalade and local honey toped it off. All the facilities, in combination with the open and hospitable host leads to a 10 out of 10.

Superb

The owner was very hospitable and accommodating, going so far as to offer us lifts when the bus services weren't running. The breakfast was delicious, with continental options as well as the offer of cooked breakfast if we so wished. We had the double room and it was beautiful.

It's in quite a rural area so the public transport is very limited.

really perfect stay

Accommodation is very cosily, clean and well-equipped, parking. There is private entrance and bath room. Communication with Mrs. Claire was perfect, she is very nice and helpful. We recommend warmly, for official trip, too !

Friendly people and great place

Very friendly people! Beautiful garden that can be used by guests. Perfect place for a stopover on our way home to the Netherlands, or to relax for a few days. Not far.from the big road but you don't hear anything.

Lovely stay in a classic French home 😊

Claire and Stan were excellent hosts. The rooms are lovely and fresh with a delicious French breakfast of breads, pastries, jams, fruit, homemade yogurt, juice and coffee. Very good value, thank you 😊

Mooie en nette kamer in een rustige omgeving. Geriefelijke en grote badkamer. Mooie tuin. Hulp bij het boeken van een uitstekend restaurant in Epinal. Zeer goed ontbijt.

Belle chambre super accueil bel environnement

Très bon accueil. Chambre très propre avec belle décoration. Petite terrasse où il fait bon lire le soir. Jolie balade à proximité. Possibilité d‘aller à pied par un chemin tranquille jusqu’à la zone commerciale où il y a de nombreux restaurants si on ne veut pas reprendre la voiture pour aller au centre d‘Epinal.

Claire ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns sofort alles gezeigt. Sie spricht fließend englisch und so war die Verständigung kein Problem. Wir durften uns im Garten erholen und auch dort frühstücken. Das Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet, gemütlich, komfortabel und tiptop sauber. Es liegen sogar Ladekabel für Telefon, etc. bereit! Es gibt einen kleinen Kühlschrank für die Gäste, man kann sich kalte Getränke nehmen. Diese werden am nächsten Tag abgerechnet. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgenommen.

Een prima moderne kamer in een eeuwenoud pand, heel schoon en comfortabel.

Jammer dat je voor koffie of thee extra moet betalen. Ook al is het maar € 0,50 het is niet erg gastvrij. Net zoals een ontbijt wat je extra kan bestellen. Bij een chambre d'hote verwacht je een ontbijt. Maak gewoon de prijs iets hoger, koffie, thee en ontbijt all in. Dat staat veel gastvrijer.

Un havre de zenitude et un accueil comme à la maison

Les hôtes sont vraiment adorables et très accueillants. Ils vous plongent dans un cocon de zenitude. On se sent chez soi dans "La Suite" avec un plus qui vous permet de vous détendre: le hammam.
