The location is peaceful, the bed was comfortable and the patio is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal and the view. The hosts were friendly, proactive with supplying tips and information and always quick to reply when we had a question. We were met by a neighbour who gave us the key and showed us the house.

What should be mentioned in the description is that the bedrooms have a separate entrance, you have to go outside and up an uncover flight of stairs to access the bedrooms. If we had known this we would never have booked the place. It is very inconvenient to have to put on shoes and go outside every time you want to run and get something from the bedroom or to go down and get a glass of water, especially in the rain. You also have to remember your keys, there's a different one for each entrance. The house is a beautiful old building, in need of some care and modernization, especially the kitchen. The bathroom downstairs has the gas tank for the stove set up in it, and not in a professional way. It could have been cleaner, there were a lot of insects inside when we arrived, specifically millipedes, both dead and alive, and after walking around for 30 minutes our socks were covered in black pet hair. Honestly, the photos make it look much nicer than it is and the price is a bit high.

Great location with easy access to the nearby beach. The host was very kind and even let us use the outdoor shower after check-out, so we could rinse off after kayaking.

Because the island’s internet connection is unstable, handing over the keys in person is slightly inconvenient.
