Dar Habache

The staff were all very friendly the location was a short walk to the main square about 20 mins although this can be tough for kids but we stopped several times as theres lots of nice things to see. The apartment is huge and spacious and AC works which was delightful for us given we came from a hotel where the AC blew hot air. The locals outside are very friendly and they played and ate with my children. I loved for them to immerse in the culture. The beds were comfy. No microwave but there was a small gas stove. The place is pretty and the rooftop breakfast was nice enough with fresh traditional bread and croissants and jams.

The TV did notbwork but this was minor as we only stayed onennigjt. I wish the cutlery on the room was clean and they had a squidgy for the bathroom because when you show the whole bathroom gets wet. Not many pots and pans for someone who wants a longer stay. Freezer had bugs in it that were frozen and the ice tray had frozen yellow green water. No wardrobes but again this did not bother us. The noise levels from the apartments above can be loud if you are at the bottom and have kids. However I enjoyed the place for ine night. Some pillows were also too firm and thick. Because there was a large parry they said they couldn't make us eggs which my little one qas looking forward to but the croissant sufficed.

kind and relaxed hosts went out of their way to make us welcome. Price is very good, location is pretty convenient. Lots of cute cats around. Nice decoration.

You have to pay cash, but they are relaxed about when they take the money if you don't have it all when you arrive.

You are right in the medina so location wise-great. The balcony was very nice and the breakfast quite alright.

Some renovations need to be made,for example when you take your bath you have to empty with a bucket the shower and there is a lot of humidity.

The young man who manages the Dar, Hussain, is a very nice, helpful and generous person even sharing his lamb with us during Eid. I cannot say enough about how helpful he was to us. The apartment was spacious and the air conditioning was excellent, thank heavens as it was very hot while we were in Marrakech.

The kitchen facilities, other than the new fridge, were very tired and worn. Camping style gas cook top, hodge podge of ad hoc plates, cups, utensils certainly not suitable for a rental accommodation and far below expectations of any family. The location is really out of the way from the main square of Marrakech. Oh and the TV did not work at all.
