Hideaway Cottage

It was a lovely place, much more spacious than we were expecting. The location is lovely just a short walk to the sea. All the things that were provided like tea, coffee, condiments, milk, bread, cookies, dog treats, shampoo and shower gel were a nice touch even though we didn’t use a lot of these as we weren’texpecting it and bought our own. If we ever stay down that way again we would have no problem with staying here again if it was available.

There is nothing I can think of that we didn’t like.

Cottage very clean and had everything we needed. Nice welcome pack and info pack came in handy.

The street was difficult to navigate and park (sometimes get blocked in/out).

Deceptively spacious cottage, which was very clean, well presented and tidy on arrival. Very secure backgarden, ideal for dogs and children. Cottage owners are very thoughtful in trying to ensure a comfortable stay, from providing a welcome card and basket of useful goodies to having cupboards full of games, children's puzzles, DVDs and books. They also kindly contacted me about belongings that were left behind after we returned home. Perfect location with Botany Bay a few minutes walk away at the end of the road, and the bay is linked to walks and other beaches. A hotel also at the end of the road was great for meals out and dog friendly as well as a convenience shop at the other end of the road.

Backgarden had a few piles of dog mess that we had to clean up before our dog and child were let loose. One of the sofas in the main living area is a bit worn and the seat cushions needed supporting with other cushions underneath to make it comfortable to sit on. Minor issues that didn't affect our overall stay and would not stop me from booking here again.

The property was larger and better equipped than we were expecting. The hosts had certainly worked very hard to provide guests with everything they are likely to need. The location was also excellent.
