Bit dated but fine.

Location. Close to all amenities.

Parking. Had to park at Ambleside FC which is a 5 minute walk.

Great facilities, decent sized rooms, well appointed kitchen. Excellent for a group walking stay.

The car park is away from the property, but if you’re coming to Ambleside and are allergic to a short walk…….

Great location and parking permit a bonus

Curtains in the living area hanging off the wall down to the floor , they did make us aware prior and it would likely be fixed next day however after 4 days it remained the same when we’d left Poor cleaning , a filthy grill pan left in the oven and the upstairs king room bedding we had to wash ourselves as it had hair from previous guests and you could smell the body odour still on the pillows and sheet First floor shower not working properly with water coming from the wall fitting and not the shower head These weren’t ideal but things happen and you can let things slide but after messaging via txt and booking.com they chose to ignore us which was pretty poor
