All of the staff is incredibly warm and helpful. The accommodations are cozy and it’s easy to walk to the beach or various restaurants in the area. They also offer plenty of activities, I did the snorkeling, which I loved, but definitely recommend doing the “2 puntos” version as the “1 punto” was only about an hour. The breakfast each morning is simple but delicious and fresh, and includes coffee (with milk and sugar if you’d like.) They also have a small shop where you can buy basic supplies, snacks, drinks, etc.
There isn’t hot water in the showers and the electricity wasn’t available at all times, but both of those things were expected and not a surprise. There are a lot of stray dogs on the island and they can be a little loud with barking at night, but that’s the same everywhere. Overall there really wasn’t anything about this place that didn’t meet my expectations!

It was relaxed and friendly there. The facilities are basic but it was lovely to chill out and we loved it . We have two children with us and they loved all the dogs and cats in the area and the parrot next door . They loved snorkelling off the nearby beaches..

The place is a little paradise in the middle of the nature! We loved everything about our stay, and all the dogs around the island are so pretty. With right repellent and bracelets mosquitos didn’t bother much and there was not other insects inside! Food options are a bit limited, but being honest we were completely fine for only 3 days. Also Giovanni was great arranging our transportation to and from the hotel!
Maybe the fact that there wasn’t AC, but this is a eco hotel so we were ready.

It’s very relaxed and Giovanni and family run it in a relaxed way. It was pretty quiet and I was the only guest at the time. I had a great tour to see bioluminescence with Giovanni son. It’s basic but everything works. Great restaurant nearby.and Ubuntu did a great breakfast.
It was sometimes very relaxed ! I didn’t get breakfast one morning and my snorkelling trip didn’t happen as planned - I couldn’t find anyone and no response to my messages. It’s basic but nice but I did ask for a room with a mossie net without holes and or a new one - that didn’t materialise. But there were not many mossies at this time.
