Friendly hosts in a semi-remote area

The hosts of Rooms Malina are very friendly and once we figured out that we could use the downstairs area for breakfast and have a coffee, it was nice getting to chat with them!

Our room was small and the mattresses on the beds were quite uncomfortable--they were way overdue for replacement. The bathroom was full of spiders and flies, some dead and some living, which made using the bathroom a bit creepy. The property overall is nice, but in a location that is not near any shops, so you will need to drive at least ten minutes or more to get food and drink.

A wonderful stay !

Nina was a truly wonderful hostess and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and offer advice. With a sore leg, one day she drove us to Lake Bled, which was very good of her. The accommodation was in a beautiful scenic location with a beautiful outlook into the garden. The rooms were comfortable and the coffee delicious. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Nice double room for a short stay

Nice sized room. There is a large garden behind the house and some rooms have a shared terrace. Convenient self-check-in. Located in a small village on a main road. Although the traffic was relatively heavy during the day, the evenings were quiet and peaceful. The evenings were cool and pleasant to sleep in, even without air conditioning in the room (with temperatures of 30 degrees during the day). Easy communication with the host through WhatsApp. The availability of 2 shared fridges for all rooms.

The size of the bathroom. The shower cabin was about 70 cm long and I hit my hands on the shower head a few times (and I am of normal size). The bed was a bit creaky. The room doors do not have rubbers to dampen noise when closing and there was constant noise from the neighboring rooms. Luckily for us, all the guests went to bed relatively early and we had no problems with noise at night. It would have been nice to have a net on the window to keep out mosquitoes in the summer. Please note that the tourist tax is 2.50 Euro, not 1.50 Euro as it was written in Booking.com.

A nice stay in a friendly place.

The location of the pension is great. About 5 minutes from the highway and 10 minutes to the Vintgar Gorge (book your tickets online, because it can be busy in the gorge). Bled is also not far away. The staff is limited, so breakfast is not always available. In short, ask in advance if breakfast is possible. When I was there, breakfast was served and it was excellent. The pension has a beautiful large garden with sun loungers and also a terrace. A big plus are also the refrigerators on the communal balconies, which guests can use. The biggest plus were the owners, who did everything they could to please the guests. It has been mentioned before, but restaurant Bethlehem - 5 minutes drive uphill - serves excellent pizzas.

The guesthouse has its own parking lot, slightly lower than the road. Be careful when driving away, the view of the road is not optimal!

Great location, wonderful hosts, excellent breakfast!!

Loved our stay. The room was great, and the breakfast DEVINE! The breakfast may not be included in the room cost, but when asked if you'd like to have breakfast - say yes!! We had a wonderful start to our day and followed that with a beautiful hike through the gorge, only minutes away. Excellent location, room, and breakfast- can't miss with this location ❤️

Wonderful people

Location was perfect for vintgar, Bled and Bohinj. 12 mins drive from Bled. We were able to use the BBQ to cook dinner wilhich was really great. The garden is wonderful. The host and hostess were so kind and attentive, it was great to chat to them.

Shower was small but was perfect temperature and had excellent power.

Located with in a very small city, so you need to take car to get everywhere, even to have diner in the evening.

Friendly owners and amazing nature. The accomodation is in a good location - close to Bled lake, even Bohinj lake is not so far.

In the barhroom there were quite a lot of spider nets and spiders. Could have been better without these roommates.

Owners & Staff - amazing , friendly, polite, approachable and generous with their time Breakfast - the best ! Location - best to have a car and easy driving distances to tourist areas and hikes, lakes etc Facilities - excellent beds, showers, chill out area, shared fridge, terrace, sunbeds, firepit, the list goes on !

It felt like home immediately, as if we had been to this place many times before. The hosts are terrific and truly take their time to make you feel welcome. The location is great if you want to explore the local trails. If you're unsure where to go (like us), no worries! The hosts will help you out with all local options.

Some of the facilities like the bathroom are somewhat dated. However, it was very clean and was well equiped, so this really isn't an issue.

Ok, but could be great with some attention to detail.

Host was very friendly and welcoming. Surrounding area is beautiful. Grounds were expansive. Large terrace for star gazing.

Room was clean in general, but it needed dusting in the corners and under the bed. Lots of cobwebs and a few resident spiders. Lighting in the room was dim at best - seems an easy fix by changing the bulbs to higher wattage. No shower gel or shampoo provided in the shower, but there was hand soap at the sink. At 100€ for a pretty basic room, I'd think morning coffee would be included, but it was 10€ extra for the breakfast. We skipped it. A nice homestay in a good area, and fine for an overnight stay, but the price to value ratio wasn't worth it.

Unforgetable time in Slovenia. Hoped we had more time.

- Host was very helpful to make our stay a special one even though we just spent a night there on the way back from Croatia to Germany. Based on the info. from the host, we visited Music Festival in Lake Bled and that turned out to be a surpiziingly great experience for us. - Breakfast was superb. - Big open shared balcony facing to the mountain and with shared refrigerator. - Very charming decoration of the room.

- Our room was facing to the car parking and it was bit noisy in the morning as other people are getting out early. - Mattress was bit too soft for us.

A fantastic stay with a warm family.

Rooms Malina was a fantastic stay, mainly caused by the hospitality of the family. We could make use of the garden and the lounge chairs in them, and we could even eat our own breakfast in the breakfast area, despite it not being the breakfast that they offered. The family was very welcoming and interested, but also kept a respectable distance. We really enjoyed our stay there.

This property offered a beautiful outdoor setting. The breakfast was fresh, homemade and delicious with excellent coffee.(the best of our trip) The hosts were friendly and attentive and went out their way to celebrate the last day of our hike around the Juliana trail. We arrived as guests and left as friends. The most memorable stay for us!
