Hoa Ngoc Lan - The Orchid Villa Dalat

Fabulously clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Home made breakfast every morning.

A lovely small stay with genuinely friendly hosts who made it feel very welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. The location allows for great views away from the noisy centre and wiht many local authentic cafes and restaurants in walking distance and a quick grab to the centre. Breakfast was a highlight, freshly prepared each morning using local produce, and really delicious. A special thank you to Vicky, who went out of her way to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed and personal stay in Da Lat.

De combinatie. Allereerst de ligging. Na alle drukke steden en herrie snachts waren we op zoek naar iets rustigers. De villa ligt mooi op de heuvel met uitzicht en het is er stil snachts, erg fijn. Ten tweede het personeel. Vicky was ons aanspreekpunt en was echt geweldig. Ook met de extra dingen. Onze bus naar Ho Chi Minh werd last minute gecancelled. Ze heeft toen in haar eigen tijd twee bus tickets voor ons geregeld en betaald op voorhand. Super fijn. Tot nu toe ook een van de schoonste accommodaties die we hebben gezien in Vietnam.

We immediately felt at home in our cozy room overlooking Dalat, in a pleasant residential area. There was a small table and two chairs next to our room, a rather rare commodity in most homestays. Our cheerful host, Vicky, gave us all the information and advice we needed. Breakfast, whether Vietnamese noodle soup or more Western-style, was delicious and served with fresh fruits. We definitely recommend this place.

The location is not very central. Due to the hilly topography of Dalat, it takes about half an hour walk to reach from the center. On the other hand, it is conveniently located (ca. 15 min walk) near the cable car station to Tuyen Lam Lake, Thien Vien Truc Lam monastrery and the Clay tunnels.
