고마트 1분거리! 필요한 물건이 있을 때마다 편하게 갈 수 있어서 제일 좋았어요. 야시장은 걸어서 15분 정도 걸리는데 호수끼고 쉬엄쉬엄 산책겸 다닐수 있습니다. 힘들면 택시 부르면 되는데 기본요금 나와요. 그리고 주택가 골목길이라 조용해서 좋았어요. 호스트가 친절하고 응답도 빠릅니다.

3층 올라가는 계단이 좁고 위험해요. 아무래도 오래된 주택이다 보니 전체적으로 깔끔하진 않아요.

The host was very helpful and friendly and did everything he could to make us feel comfortable. The driver he arranged for us was great. He drove well and was very polite and patient. The house is spacious and for the money, you could say that you get a lot of room. There's a supermarket close to the house, which is convenient.

Honestly the house is just not great. There are 6-7 loud and smelly dogs right outside the door, some of them roaming free and barking at you every time you walk out the door. And of course they bark at night as well. The house is located near a park, which also happens to be the place people gather at night to practice their karaoke skills. So be prepared to listen to people with zero singing talent scream their lungs out at 3am. The house itself is spacious and let's just call the interior "interesting". Christmas decorations, Marijuana flags, tacky paintings everywhere. Which is fine, we knew this wouldn't be some super stylish boutique hotel. What isn't fine, however, is the fact that several sinks are blocked, there's no warm water in the sinks, the water faucets are loose and the shower head sprays water everywhere it shouldn't. As for the beds, the bedsheets and linen are made of some sort of synthetic material, meaning you sweat like crazy while sleeping. The bedsheets and linen might have been washed, but the blankets smelled like they hadn't been washed in a while. Plus there are mosquitoes inside the house and we got bitten several times while sleeping. The kitchen is functional but many parts of it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. You'd definitely want to wash everything before you use anything. There's a surveillance camera in the living room, which we, only upon asking about it, were told wasn't on. Still it was strange to us having a camera pointed at us in a house we rented. All in all, it's hard to understand why anyone would give Dora's homestay a rating of 10, and the current rating of 9.2 (which is the reason we booked this place), seems extremely overrated. The only scenario where this house would be acceptable to stay in, would be if you were a large group of people, on a budget and you didn't mind all the annoyances described above.
