Everything was great. Francesca the host is wonderful and gave us brilliant recommendations for places to eat. The room was spotless and really nicely done, clean lines and great decor. The private patio out the back was great. The pool area is gorgeous and it’s about a half hour walk to Locorotondo. Wish we could have stayed longer, hope to be back!

Pietra Pessara is a true hidden gem. We stayed here for a few days with our one-and-a-half-year-old son and felt at home straight away. Francesca is an incredible host who puts her heart into everything she does. The breakfast is something else: fresh ingredients from the garden, different every day, and always more than enough. The rooms are quiet and well looked after, the communication was smooth throughout, and the overall atmosphere on the property is just beautiful. A stunning pool, a vintage Fiat 500 and a Vespa parked nearby, every photo you take there is a keeper. And staying in an actual trullo on top of all that makes it a perfect base to explore the Puglia region.
