Dreamy

We loved everything about this beautiful house, from the location close to the beach, to the spacious garden, the garage for storage, and the beautiful well equipped kitchen (plastic containers for picnics, coffee filters, tinfoil; bravo!). It is even nicer than the photos show as it is so peaceful. Plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy ourselves. The owners were very welcoming but left us alone to enjoy our holiday. We were sad to leave and would love to return.

Nothing that is not clear before you book. No shop nearby but the village is peaceful. Mobile internet is poor but that seems unavoidable locally. I find the practice of charging separately for linen and towels a bit off putting but the house was very good value even after paying these extras.

Lovely breton house

We enjoyed that nice place a lot. The garden is big for playing with kids, relaxing and having a barbecue. The kitchen equipment is pretty basic. You can reach the beach with a little walk also with small kids. Also at night you can go there and have a drink or an icecream at the little beach bar.

Teleurstellende ervaring - foto's en tekst geven een vertekend beeld, privacy is er niet.

Wij hebben hier met ons gezin begin augustus 2025 onze vakantie doorgebracht. Wat op de foto's een leuke ervaring leek te worden, pakte in werkelijkheid toch iets anders uit. De omgeving is fantastisch en een echte aanrader. De afknapper is het vakantiehuisje, waar enige vorm van privacy ver te zoeken is. Zo loopt er over de hele lengte van de tuin een pad dat de hoofdstraat van het dorp met het strand verbindt. Dit pad ligt verhoogd, zodat iedereen vanaf dit drukke pad - waar van 's morgens vroeg tot 's avonds laat intensief gebruik van wordt gemaakt - van bovenaf en van zeer korte afstand in de onafgeschermde tuin kan kijken. Even rustig in de tuin zitten of ontbijten is er echt niet bij. Het ontbreekt aan eerlijkheid in de tekst en foto's, want noch het bovengenoemde pad, noch het feit dat er in de advertentie een oude foto van het huisje is gebruikt (er staat inmiddels een groot pand achter de woning, waardoor deze bewoners ook recht in de tuin van de vakantiewoning kunnen kijken) worden vermeld. Tot slot werden we toch wel enigszins ongemakkelijk van de eigenaar, die meerdere keren per dag zonder verder iets te zeggen langs de woning liep, en het huis vanuit de tegenovergelegen tuin in de gaten leek te houden.
