Apartments Villa Aquamarie

Hosts were amazing. Property was clean, great location, and had everything we needed.

The location is pretty good, close to the beaches, a local store and the restaurants. The pool was great and practical for us and our small child. All the facilities were very good - two bathrooms (toilets), a well equipped kitchen with all the necessary dishes and utensils, a washing machine, the balcony, everything. There were also many helpful little things - a microwave, an iron with an ironing board, a hair dryer, laundry capsules, some spices in the kitchen etc. The air conditioning units work very well and the building's isolation is well made so that no heat comes inside when everything is closed, and it's pretty quiet as well. The owner was very nice and welcoming. She surprised us with various snacks a couple of times during our stay. We also got a crib and a high chair as we specially requested them. The cleaning lady was really nice, too. Overall atmosphere was wonderful, we spent our evenings in our large balcony overlooking the pool, with airplanes flying very low as the Split airport is very close.

Nothing about the place itself, but the location itself - the local roads are bothersome, especially when you need to go shopping for groceries (all the supermarkets are a ways off). They are very narrow and steep, like it can be on islands. They are also often crowded, both by locals and by many passing tourists. Nothing can be done about it, but it can be a little frustrating. The old town center is also just far enough that you don't feel like walking there, and if you take a car, it can be hard (and expensive) to park there.

Ana and the cleaning staff were so welcoming. The apartment was cleaned each day and always fresh towels. In addition they frequently brought fresh fruit- little things that made a big difference.

To be honest the apartment was excellent but what we really loved was the location 1km to Trogir old town and 1km to in the other direction to beaches, bars and restaurants.
