Il Fontanile

My daughter and I stayed here in March and it remains a very special memory for us. Paola was such a warm, thoughtful and welcoming host. During our stay I became ill with bronchitis and was feeling quite poorly, and her kindness and care during that time meant a great deal to me. It is something I have not forgotten. One of our favourite parts of the stay was using the bicycles available at the property. My daughter and I spent our days enjoying the fresh air, cycling and walking through the beautiful surroundings, and returning each evening feeling wonderfully relaxed and sleeping deeply. The setting is peaceful and serene, yet perfectly placed close to the marina, the beaches and the nature reserve. It offers the best of both worlds: nature, tranquillity and easy access to the coast. Places are easy to forget; kindness isn't. Thank you, Paola, for taking such good care of us.

Keine negativen Auffälligkeiten, nur ein paar Stechfliegen, aber die gehören nun mal zur Maremma…..

Appreciated the effort that went into making it. humble and small but lovely. Coffee was good. the ambience could do with a little love.

Please do some work to the seating area, to make it more comfortable
