We liked the enclosed garden, the simple, clean decor, the garden & closeness to the common, a pub, playground & local dog park.
Rubber oven gloves, no hand towel in kitchen. I didn't want to use the 2nd identical tea towel or a bathroom white towel as neither were suitable. We had to buy fly killer as on entry there were a significant number in the kitchen. Lack of triage in the kitchen for recycling. A second bin for the glass, tins, paper & card for the blue dustbin would have been helpful. A working Salt mill or salt pot rather than the free flow supermarket container.

The location was good
We could have done with a better fridge and also the freezer compartment was iced up so couldn’t even get some ice cream in , could also do with a blind at front bathroom window and mirror in other bathroom ,my husband spent 30 minutes cleaning the out side table and chairs when we got there so we could sit outside also lots of cobwebs round the front door .I think just a few of these touches would make for even a better stay .

The little garden was useful - a nice place for my 4yo to play.
The place is looking a little tired - you have to hold a warped cabinet shut so you can open the fridge. There was an ant infestation when we arrived - they sent a maintenance man round but it was clearly a pre existing problem because there was ant killer under the sink. There was quite a lot of animal hair around the place - not as clean as we were expecting.
