Gorgeous traditional Alentejo house with stunning views. Super quiet and private, with only the sounds of nature and grazing sheep in the background. The house has comfortable beds and furniture, and the kitchen is well equipped. We felt very much at home and highly recommend. Lots of things to visit in the area - Alqueva lake, Monsaraz. We high,y recommend the Clay museum in Redondo too!
We were there in mid-April with rainy weather so the house was a bit cold and humid when we arrived. However, the heating units units in the bedroom and the space heaters worked well and quickly made the house cozy.

Location difficult to find, but all was ready when we arrived with an welcome bottle of wine waiting for us. The house location is lovely with views across the fields. The house is comfy and very well equipped, the patio is fantastic for a barbecue and al fresco meals. Not much happening in the neighbourhood, but a great location for day trips to a number of locations.
Would benefit from a house plate in the main street indicating the house location. GPS coordinates took us to slightly different location.

Owner wasn't available because of illness but we got detail instructions by email and key was delivered by cleaning lady who lives in neighborhood. Place was optimal for purpose we need - which is to take a rest with family (2 adults and three young kids.
- Swimming pool was sufficient (clean and cold) kids spent there hours every day
- wi-fi works fine
- Kitchen was equiped well
- House was clean there were a lot of places for rest
- Grill was perfect, fully equiped for first usage
- A lot of historical places to visit near from the village (from 5 to 40 km)
- PRIVACY was extraordinary - we didn't see anyone if we were home
- house is at the end of the village there is nice view on sunset every evening
- we had some issues with ants but it was easy to manage it with some chemicals from local store
- Bedroom were quite small especially in case that we need to use extra bed for third kid. I can not imagine three adults in one bedroom, but for us it was sufficient
