Bruce Anchor Motel

Location was great for walking around, Our lower level room meant carting luggage. I was pre-warned and asked if it was ok. It is an older hotel and we have stayed here before, last time before we caught the ferry. People were helpful, bed was comfortable

Wifi was very, very slow, couch does not make a comfortable bed so my granddaughter slept with us in the king bed.

Employees were nice room was very comfortable.

There was no plug for the jacuzzi tub. This was the main reason for booking the room.

Our room was on the downstairs floors (room 3). It was easily accessible to everything. The Hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk to the downtown restaurants etc. The staff were amazing before and during our stay and the Bruce Anchor cruises easily accessible right across the road.

Our room was very damp and musty unfortunately. The bathroom floor was constantly wet and the carpet was damp also which made the stay not as good as we felt it should have been, especially for the cost. It was also unfortunate that there was no breakfast option and we could not really make anything ourselves prior to our early boat ride as there was no toaster etc. in the room. Just small things that would have made our stay a little better. The dampness in the room though needs to be attended to.

Nice location, on the outside it was very pleasant. Plenty of parking, ice machine.

Uncomfortable and not clean enough, unfortunately. Multiple pieces of trash openly on the ground in plain view (bandaid wrapper, gum wrapper), very obviously dusty side table lamps and bed ledge, really lumpy overly stuffed pillows (both my husband and I slept without them), unwashed mirrors full of streaks and spots that weren’t our own, missing toilet paper upon arrival, no cups in the room (even though there was a coffee machine), and ZERO art on the walls or ANY colour anywhere in the room, it was austere and depressing for a cute little motel by the water. Stayed one night, wouldn’t return.
