I liked the location, because it was close to amusement centres.
The facilities inside the property were limited, could do with more sports activities.

Ocean view was great with a view of the island and the cable cars. Restaurant and breakfast buffet were excellent and had a huge selection. Staff was very friendly.
Room interior styling was a bit over the top with tacky classical French cliche elements. The spa was very expensive for Vietnamese standards and provided an unremarkable experience. I would not use it next time. When showering in the morning, the power cut out and that also made the water supply stop. I had to rinse myself off in the bathtub with cold water. After a few minutes the power was restored. Later I understood from the hotel manager that the city had a power outage and they switched to backup power for that reason, but apparently they can’t do this seamlessly. Still ironic that I could have a pleasant shower with hot water in my cheap Tam Coc hostel but not in the Vinpearl 5 star resort.
