After Working in a hectic city life , If you’re looking for the true, no-frills Goan beach experience,unlike the surrounding posh and overpriced beach resorts  this old beach shack is exactly where you should land to get away from the city life . It has that classic, slightly worn-out charm that instantly tells you you’re on holiday. The wooden benches, the mismatched chairs, and the salty breeze create a vibe that newer, polished cafés simply can’t replicate. The food is simple but delicious—fresh butter garlic prawns, crisp calamari, and a perfectly spiced Goan curry that tastes like it’s been made the same way for decades. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the chilled Kingfisher hits differently when you're just a few steps away from the waves. What really makes this place special, though, is the atmosphere. You hear waves rolling in, music playing softly in the background, and the staff treat you like you’ve been coming here for years. It’s relaxed, slow, and wonderfully nostalgic. Yes, it’s a bit rustic. The furniture creaks, the thatched roof has seen better days, and service can be a little slow during rush hours—but that’s part of its charm. If you want authenticity over luxury, this shack is one of those hidden gems that gives you the real Goa. ⭐ Overall: 5/5 – Perfect for sunsets, seafood, affordable beverages and that laid-back old-school beach vibe.

None, it's exactly how Goa was 20 years ago and I loved it .

We were staying in Baga. We left the resort we were staying and my wife had a small accident and we missed our flight to Mumbai. We wanted a resort near the new airport as we made a new booking to Mumbai. We found Jasmine Beach Resort at Morjim which is only about 30 minutes from the new airport. We arrived by taxi. It was tipping down with rain. We had our to 4 year twins. When we got to check in we were so wet. One of the staff gave us towels to dry our self's of a bit. Romeo the one checking us in said as we are quite to night we are going to upgrade from a standard rom to a premium room at no extra fees which was just feet from the restaurant. We got to the room and it was spotless clean. We all had a shower then went for dinner. It had stop raining and 2 children went on to there small private beach. The staff gave then things to play in the sand and even played with them.The resort has there own boat which go's out fishing each day. We found out it prawn fishing time of the year. That night we had prawns and my wife had tandoori chicken which she said was one of the best she had ever had. The prawn were so fresh and they cook then 3 ways for us with fresh salad and chips The staff were great and treat as if we were old friend not like other large resort as if you are just a number. We are in India on hoilday for 3 mouths and when we come back to Goa we will book to stay at Jasmine Beach Resort for 3 or 4 days when we get back Goa in late September. Thanks to the staff for love time for our very short stay.
