Unusual but fantastic value very spacious apartment with safe parking 20 mins walk from centre

An interesting choice which actually worked out really well. The building is a very upmarket modern residential care home set in its own patch of wonderful greenery and tall trees, all the better as it's located in a modern bit of the city new the university. That said, I parked in the shade safely and securely for a few days. My room was on the third floor, there's a lift. Actually it was a one bed apartment that was huge, very clean, had two sets of windows + balconies, aircon, a well equipped kitchenette (the fridge was the most useful thing during the 30 degrees of my stay), a very modern spacious shower room, TV, dining table and four chairs, and a sofa! I was after quiet and safe parking and it certainly delivered. It was 20 minutes walk to the lively old city centre (easy route that is flat) and there's a supermarket a few minutes walk away from the block. The older residents were very much in evidence during the day (they sit and chat, and amble around the surroundings) but they're very friendly and look happy. All in all, fantastic value for money and it really suited my needs. May not be for everyone as there are no guest services (ie the guest rooms are a side business) so as long as you're not expecting concierge or a bar, this could be for you!

Very good

Located at 30 min walk from the center. We stayed for 2 nights with our dog and our room was big enough to make our stay comfortable. The staff are very kind and polite, patient if you do not speak French.

Definitely the furniture inside the room could be updated and in the kitchenette there weren't any cutlery. We paid for breakfast for 2 pp: the service was excellent (room service) but breakfast itself was very disappointing: we had stale bread served on the plate and the croissant+pain au chocolat were about 8cm long.

Good location, very friendly staff

Really friendly and helpful staff, good shower, a nice location - quiet, easy to reach by car for our stop over - and close enough to (very pretty) Dijon for us to walk to the centre without any issues. Our dog was also made to feel very welcome.

If you plan to cook for yourselves, it is a very basic kitchenette and very little is supplied. Zero cooking utensils, no sharp knife, limited cutlery, tiny cups and cramped stove top. And reception had to find us a corkscrew. Basically, we should have eaten out.

Spacious apartment on the outskirts of beautiful Dijon.

Spacious and superbly clean apartment, with an extremely comfortable bed, and a very good shower. Lots of storage. Small but functional kitchenette, but good sized dining table. About 20min walk into beautiful Dijon. Very easy to take the dog out as there are gardens all around. Good parking. This is a residential home for the elderly, but that does not detract from the stay. Would definitely stay here again. (If visiting Dijon for the first time, be sure to do the Parcour de la Chouette/Owl Trail).

For some reason there were no curtains, this might be an issue in summer, but not for us in December.

Un hotel, pas un appartement

L'appartement est spacieux, au calme. Le lit est confortable.

Manque cruel d'équipements ! N'espérez pas cuisiner, il n'y a rien dans la cuisine à part assiettes, tasses et couverts. Juste une petite poêle et une petite casserole pouvant contenir un œuf. Pas de batterie de cuisine , ni spatule, couverts à salade, économe.. pas même un couteau qui coupe. Nous avons été incapables de couper un morceau de fromage ! pas de tire-bouchon.. bref rien. Et si vous voulez manger sur place, il faut réserver 48 h à l'avance. Dans la salle de bains, pas de patère pour accrocher serviettes ou vêtements, le radiateur est insuffisant pour tout mettre. Pas de sèche-cheveux non plus.

L’emplacement pour ma formation

Pas d’eau chaude le soir du premier jour et le matin du deuxième jour. On m’a conseillé la casserole « à l’ancienne ». Je ne suis pas résidente permanente de la maison de retraite donc je n’ai pas la journée pour me laver. C’était donc très inconfortable pour démarrer une formation de 3 jours. Pas de petit déjeuner avant 9h. Ne pas proposer de logement si les personnes qui logent ne peuvent pas prendre le petit déjeuner et partir travailler aux horaires de bureau

Sehr einfaches Zimmer, für eine Nacht ok.

Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt. Parkplätze waren nah an der Unterkunft kostenfrei verfügbar. Die Idee, zusammen mit Senioren in dieser Residenz zu wohnen finden wir generell gut. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr im Grünen und man ist in 30 Minuten zu Fuß in der Altstadt.

Leider war der Küchenbereich dreckig. Die Kochnische wurde nach der letzten Nutzung nicht gereinigt. Auch das Geschirr war dreckig. Generell ist das Zimmer sehr minimalistisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war für den Preis nicht angemessen. Ich empfehle sich ein Frühstück außerhalb zu suchen.

L'accueil du personnel : on m'a proposé un "encas" à mon arrivée. Le petit déjeuner était correct et servi en chambre ! - Le cadre exceptionnel de verdure, le calme du parc, en ville, tout près du campus.

L'ameublement un peu "spartiate" de la chambre.
