We really enjoyed the apartment.

Large and spacious our apartment was called “The Pool”. Philip is a superb host who will sort any issues and help you out. Nice little pool. I’m not sure why other people would book a stay here when its called “Tranquil Villa” and then spend their time talking on their phones outside, having a phone in their hand with message alerts constantly audibly going off, playing music etc etc. People are the worst. Apart from this it is in a quiet area. As with most apartments in Spain tables and chairs need foam putting under them to dull the noise of being dragged around. (As people cant be bothered to pick them up when moving them). Huge shower/toilet room. We had “The Pool” apartment which was large for us two people. Large sofa, table and chairs in kitchen/living room combo and also in the bedroom. A very well stocked Aldi is only a 5 minute walk away. We really enjoyed the apartment.

perfect place for relaxed vacation in Andalucía

We got apartment with great view with pool and palms and see. Didn't use pool but it looked nice. Terrace was great place to relax and have breakfast. Rooms were bright and spacious and equipped with everything needed. Beach and some shops are in short walking distance from Villa.

All in all we had a great stay but with a few minor upgrades it could have been a fantastic stay.

Spacious and a nice pool. Very well appointed property with some very nice touches.

Sunbeds and parasols all need replacing. Pool needed some maintenance and access to the apartment across the grass, when it was dark, could have been dangerous. It was further away from Estepona Old Town than we thought but luckily we had a car.

Perfect for a large family gathering.

What can I say about our stay! We were a large group of family members in Spain for my son's wedding in nearby Sotogrande. Villa Tranquilla was perfect for us as we booked all the apartments. It was certainly tranquil but also quiet & comfortable with stunning views. The villa allowed us to be together as a group, but we also had privacy, when required, as the apartments are quite separate. The apartments are exactly what a holiday home should be - clean, comfortable & tasteful, with plenty of space both inside & out. Philip was a great host; extremely helpful when we needed him, but also discreet. Carolina, his partner, came to our rescue and babysat for us when we were let down at short notice. We had plenty of helpful tips where to eat or visit during our stay, although we were perfectly happy just being around the pool on some occasions. We made good use of the facilities outside with a couple of barbecues in the evening when the solar lights made everything look magical! Thank you for a brilliant stay, Philip!

Pretty but no privacy

Very spacious, clean and good facilities

Shared villa with other people which isn’t very clear in the advertisement of this property. Didn’t feel we had the privacy we expected. The pool is shared between all guests in the villas. The owner of the property also stays downstairs in the villa throughout your stay.

The pool and the location. Our apartment was spacious and easily accessible. Phillip our host was amazing and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.

There is a dog at the property. My son is scared of dogs so this was a bit of a surprise but the dog was very friendly and didn’t bother us but it would have been nice to know before our arrival.

Warm welcome and very friendly and helpful owner Philip. Great location, perfect for a quick trip to the supermarket and for getting into town or to the beach

It was undergoing winter renovation so not completely tranquilla or tidy outside but Philip apologized and this stuff has to be done in the quiet season... It will be great when the real season gets underway.

Beast experience

It was a great experience, Phillip the host greeted us at 7 am and suggested us to leave the luggage at his storage so that we could go have breakfast somewhere close(which he recommended ) which we enjoyed very much. The overall stay was 10 out of 10 in regards to location, accommodation, experience and all…will be back very soon. Philip and his dog Kenzi are the most amazing hosts !

Lovely apartment with plenty of space. Nice to have a pool, garden space and private terrace/ balcony right outside your apartment. Host amazing. Would recommend.

Gardens need a little updating/ maintenance. Would recommend hiring a car as the property is little way outside of estepona. We got a lot of taxis (which the host very kindly helped us with)!

Outstanding. We will be back

Brilliant location with panoramic view of the sea (North Africa coastline in the distance). Beautiful gardens & pool. Our villa verandah was a perfect spot to gaze, chill & admire the view. Everything in Estepona (beaches, restaurants etc in easy reach - c10 mins by car). Estepona itself is relatively unspoilt by tourism & is quiet, clean & stunningly beautiful. I fell in love with this place. Property divided into 3 sections. We had the smallest - one bedroom so perfect for a couple. Other two rentals accomodate large groups/familes. Villa itself was spacious, clean & wonderfully equipped (esp the air con). Philip was an attentive & super helpful host - a top guy & we couldn't have asked for more. Price was really good, especially for a villa. I would highly recommend this property.

Nothing. If I had to nitpick, some of the outdoor tiling in need of repair - but it didn't detract from our experience which was simply perfect. I guess if the outdoor furnishings were pristine, the price of the villa would be less competitive - and to be clear, this was great value for money.

Exceptional

We stayed for 5 nights at the Villa Tranquilla. Villa itself was very clean and spacious, so as pool outside and all surrounding area. Very well equipped with everything you can think of. Host Phillip was the best - friendly, warm and attentive. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!!

View - Garden. Philippe is very flexible if you need to change/adjust dates. He refunded me of half the price of a night as I had to leave earliar.

Location is difficult to access with a car. It is a dual carriage way, and you need to pay great attention t your GPS when engaging to the street. Parking in front of rhe house is quite easy.

Very relaxing stay. The apartments are equipped with everything you need in the kitchen as well as fast fibre internet and a big screen TV. Each apartment has is own gas BBQ. Great ocean views from the property with a good size swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers. Excellent central location with multiple grocery shops nearby. Love this place!

The villa was very well equipped, very clean and the host Philip had a very genuine care that we had everything we needed and was having a great break, we’ve stayed in many places like this yet to date never met a host so helpful We were worried when booking that this villa was split into 4 sections but this really was no problem at all, the way Phillip has done this you felt like you were the only people there

Villa Tranquilla is a marvelous place. we stayed 10 days with two families and enjoyed the spacious rooms and terrace of the upper apartment. the view is stunning. the location is peaceful. garden and pool offer private chillout space. Philip is an amazing host and always helpful. We would recommend to have a car to be flexible. basic shopping options are located in 10 min walking distance.

Great few days here and did not want to go home 😁

We loved our apartment with the terrace and bbq areas . The bedrooms are large and beds were comfy and overall well equipped .Philip our host was very helpful and friendly as was the lovely Kenzie his dog! It is an easy drive to local areas / beaches and the town ( much better to have a car here but Philip will always help booking taxis)

Philip was an excellent host, very welcoming and accommodating. He provided useful information to help make the most of our stay. The apartment was perfect for our family of five (children ages, 16, 19 and 22) and very reasonably priced. The location was good as a base for exploring the region from Sotogrande to Marbella, and a peaceful place to come back to and relax at the end of a busy day! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Tranquilla and Philip!

Fabulous stay

Loved everything about this place. Stayed in Palm Terrace over Easter for 5 days. The villa is an amazing place to stay. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with living/dining area. Has a fantastic TV network that kept certain members of the family happy !! Pool was lovely but chilly..views were stunning. BBQ also available to use. Has everything available that you would need. Nothing more to say...apart from the fact that Philip the host and Kenzi his gorgeous dog were the best !! Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
