Vanilla Guesthouse

The location was very good and safe. The facilities were excellent. And the breakfast was wonderful.

The pathway from the front door to parking could be better lit.

The room exceptionally clean, loved that it had air con and the bed was so comfortable

We have stayed at Vanilla several times. Very good breakfast, location and staff. Will definitely go back.

We had problems with the shower. Gas was finished so.no hot water to shower. We couldn't teach anyone as it was late. But at 0430am they fixed the problem and we were able to shower in the morning. Master bed matrass needs replacing.

Location was great, as I needed to be near family. Rooms were clean. Parking was not a problem It was quiet.

Breakfasts were definitely a hit and miss option. We were told on Monday that there was no gas, and that "they" were waiting for it to be changed over, after waiting over 15 mins, with no communication we guessed it was not going to happen. and so we left. We tried to communicate that to one of the staff, but I was not 100% sure it was understood. There is no lights left on, when you come back at night, that was very frustrating. Communication with the staff was quite difficult. It appeared that we were the only guests for most of our stay.
