Gasthaus Mikkeli

It was comfortable, warm and has its own sauna. It’s only 500 meters to the campus and a short walk to a grocery store. Downtown is 20 walking minutes.

Just know to adjust your expectations accordingly to the area and price. This is an earthy and welcoming vibe nothing compared to a hotel but it was lovely for us.

Very cosy spacy rooms, warm and nice to sleep with window open for fresh air. The kitchen is nice and big too and Veranda with roof outside by big garden and gas barbecue is beautiful. Nice to smoke a cigarette like at home with coffee. Bathrooms are modern and spacy. Coffee and some biscuits are free. I like it. Its very close to town center but cosy beatyful peaceful area of private homes, free apples too. About max 30 min walk to railway station. Taxi up to 12 euros with 1 euro tips for coffee to driver, at market square is 1 euro coffee. You have also freeze box and fridge in common use in kitchen saloon. In my room was hand wash tap and fridge and water boiler and coffee machine for filter coffee of your own use. And TV,. You have free wifi also. In
