Host speak very well english, the room was very clean, and very nice bathroom with hot water. Wifi could be better but not bad.
No aircondition and there is a noisy fan yet ineffective connected to the lamp. The host only accept PayPal(witch will cost extra for you) or directory bank deposit (not suitable when you are not Brazilian). Too much noise from the street. The room is a room in an flat, my last morning was disturbed by someone ringning the front door Phone for 30 mins in order to get in to the stairway for the apartments.

Airbnb feeling
Free water station, modern facility, supermarket and ATM downstairs.
Air con was not working well, noisy street so you could not open the window, cleanliness ok.

Meier house is awesome! It is like a flat, so you have more of a airbnb feeling and you feel like home. Bathroom/ showers are perfect. We loved Olli the dog and a bit of chats with Jean the owner. Really nice place to stay!!
Location is a bit off, but so you are not in the superficial tourstic areas. While our stay in Rio it was super hot, unfortunately there is no AC in the house, or in the rooms, there have been just two small fans which didnt kept us cooled.
