    Firstly, Mozambique security personnel failed this place right from the boarder gate! Solicitation of bribes to outright intimidation and demanding money BY POLICE!!! Then the horrendous roads of Ponta!! With no alternative route -5 out of 10! It rained the whole time we were there and unfortunately there's insufficient ventilation leading to mould in the room, especially the bathroom! My husband and I are both asthmatic! The beach isn't as close as is purported to be and one has to walk through the village with minimal signage, but awesome beach once you get there. We were not informed about the closure of ALL the restaurants!!! By day 3 we were forced to drive to Maputo (over 200 km round trip) for a decent meal! The beds were not comfortable and our towels only got changed on day 4/5!! We did like the eco vibe, but the place needs an upgrade. Lovely staff, Chico was super!
