Casa Quimera

How lucky I was to find Imelda’s beautiful home for our brief stay in Maputo! It felt like we had gone to a friend’s house. We were treated so warmly, and the place is absolutely stunning. Like a little oasis. The bed is so comfortable and there are all kinds of cute touches in the room, like chocolates on our pillows, little homemade biscuits, a mini bar and all the shampoos and conditioners you could wish for! 😅 Imelda made us the most delicious breakfast in the morning, with seasonal fruit and herbs from her garden! It was an exceptional experience. My only regret is that I didn’t stay there longer. Thank you so much for having us, we feel we have a spot in Maputo for life 🥰✨🤍

Our host Imelda is very nice. Very attentive to our requests and helpful too, I also had really great conversations with her and she even offered me tea (and made us a very delicious breakfast )❤️! I also like the fact that the beds have the lace to keep mosquitoes away when sleeping, made the night very peaceful!!

Beautiful place in great location. Amusing and very helpful owner. It was really amazing and I recommend it 100%.

The stay was very positive in many respects, though I sometimes felt a little overwhelmed by the host's approach. I was also disappointed by a misunderstanding regarding my extended stay. I had received verbal confirmation that I could return for two additional nights later in the week after my trip to Isla Inhaca, but was subsequently told that no rooms were available because the property was fully booked. This made planning the remainder of my visit more challenging.
