Ayoba Santorini

My partner and I were exceptionally lucky to have stayed at this hotel. We had another hotel on the island cancel our reservation 4 days before our planned trip and Ayoba was thankfully available for our trip dates. We were particularly pleased with the late check-in option as our flight arrived quite late! For this, Ayoba also recommended an affordable airport transfer. Each morning of our stay we were greeted kindly by miss Irene who was not only very positive, but very helpful. Breakfast was always on time and contained everything we needed to start our day. Most of all, the location is amazing. It is minutes by foot from a mini market in which we bought all of our food and water for the week. The bus stop to Oia is only ten minutes away by foot and the best part is the walk to Fira. We did the sunset walk from Ayoba to Fira every night of our stay and it was wonderful. Staying outside of the Fira proper was the best decision for us because we always had free access to the caldera sunset and could enjoy quiet nights away from the boom and bustle. Finally, the pool was very clean and always at a nice temperature for us and we enjoyed it as often as possible.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit dans ce magique studio 3. Nous avons eu droit à un accueil extraordinaire de la part de Irène, elle a su être à notre écoute et nous a même aider pour notre départ. Nous sommes vraiment heureux de notre séjour, la piscine est top.

The room I was upgraded to was nice, spacious and comfortable.

The initial room given wasn’t clean. I understand it’s on the budget side but the bare minimum of cleanliness must at least be met. Management swiftly sorted this and were very efficient and kind to move my room. I know it’s still out of season, but there was nowhere to lounge by the hot tub like shown in pictures. Location is nice. Lots of lovely places to eat a short stroll away.
