This is one of the most fully, and thoughtfully, equipped places we’ve stayed. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens, ample closet and dresser space, lap robes in the living room, even tape dispensers at both writing desks. A really delightful place. The nearby walking/running path was a real added benefit.

Enjoyed our stay at this historic house. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and relaxing for an entire week. Loved the Ellsworth area and easy access to Acadia area.

4 of us stayed for 3 weeks. The home was well stocked with practically everything you could imagine needing. The house was very clean. We baked, we cooked....the kitchen was great for us. We went somewhere every day....close enough to plenty of places to enjoy. We had an issue with the lock on our first day and got immediate response to solve it. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect location.

Our hostess Denise made our stay very comfortable. She was very kind and responsive. The house is super cute. We loved the ducks in the backyard! The house came with a well equipped kitchen including pancake mix and maple syrup! It was quite roomy for our family including adult children. The furniture (beds, couches and easy chairs) were very comfortable. The house is located just moments from Ellsworth and an easy drive (30-40 mins) to many of our favorite coastal destinations including: Deer Isle, Stonington, Schoodic Point, Winter Harbor, and all of Mount Desert Island including Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.
The house is charming and decorated nicely with beautiful original art. We all agreed we would gladly stay here again!
