About this house rental

This is a charming (700 square foot), single level one bedroom duplex, one bath, just steps to the sand and 4 blocks from Main Street and and the pier. This is a quiet bungalow surrounded by cozy cottages and magnificent mansions. Fully equipped with full kitchen, microwave, stove and refrigerator. Built-in kitchen 'nook' in dining area. This is a 1 bedroom with a king size bed and 1 queen sofa bed. Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated with a touch of 'beach funk'! Includes one outdoor parking space.

Seal Beach is located just 22 miles south of Los Angeles, at the northern end of Orange County. Visitors seeking the California dream of beach, sun and ocean need look no further. I recently retired a few weeks ago and wanted to spend some relaxing time with my daughter and granddaughter. The "home" was so welcoming and perfect for our family time. My grand had never seen the ocean, so we spent a lot of time at the beach. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding sights. Queen Mary, USS Iowa (we are from IA) and trips to Santa Monica pier and Universal. I could definitely see myself in that cozy cottage year round !!! Thank you so much for making our stay a wonderful, comfy experience.

We stayed the weekend Thurs- Sunday and would have loved another night . Just steps from the beach and restaurants. A kids playground right in the sand at the pier . This duplex unit was super top priority clean . Felt like home away from home . Comfortable big king bed . Kitchen fully stocked with anything you need to cook utensils . AC unit in living room worked perfect . House has 3 ceiling fans and 2 portable floor stand fans . Only downside was the duplex unit rental people next door were night owls coming home each night after 9pm with kids running around on the hard wood floors and parents yelling at them and each other . BUT that was random and we are early birds and probably made them crazy . SO we would absolutely rent this place again and highly recommend!

A friend and I rented the property for a wedding in HB and had a blast. The location is super close to the beach and downtown Seal Beach. Also very walkable to Ballast Point in Long Beach. Comes with everything you need for a short stay, including soap, shampoo, conditioner. Kitchen is nice, but we never got around to cooking. Check-in was a breeze. Erica was very commnicative throughout the whole process. Really enjoyed our stay. Would book it again in a heartbeat.

This property is everything we could have asked for and more for our small family of 3. We were just steps from the beach to take our 2 year old for her first time. Only 5 blocks from the town Main Street, pier and park. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable from every corner.

What a wonderful place! Made fun memories with my kids. Steps away from a clean beach with good waves for boogie boarding, life guards and a quaint downtown with great restaurants and unique shops. Nicely decorated, comfy beds and had everything we needed. Thin walls, heard talking from the neighbor unit. We didn’t mind, but I was a little paranoid we were too loud while they slept.

Overall, the property is lovely. Since this is an old house, there are things that need some attention related to the plumbing; for example, dripping faucet in the kitchen and slow moving drain in the bathroom. It appears to me that someone needs to be more carefully checking the condition of various parts of the house. Erica was very responsive when I pointed out problems but they couldn’t be addressed while we were there. We would stay there again but I might want someone I know to do a check before I made reservations.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay. The home is clean and the location perfect. We had loud neighbours and the walls are thin though. Also, we were a bit surprised that we were required to clean our dishes and remove the trash before leaving.

Very cute duplex in a perfect location. Even though it’s a one bedroom the living space with the pull out bed in completely separate from the bedroom by a long hallway creating a two bedroom feel. There’s a parking spot and the ability to register guest cars. My only negative is that the walls and floors are shared with the other unit and you can hear literally everything from walking to sneezing. Noise doesn’t bother me though so I didn’t mind. TV set up couldn’t be easier. I LOVED the location just a couple blocks to main st with coffee shops and restaurants/bars and one row of houses back from the beach. Would definitely stay again!

What a cute apartment in the best part of California! Cozy and quiet neighborhood, the house had all the essentials and was a very close walk to the beach. My little family loved walking to downtown each morning for a coffee and breakfast. We cannot wait to come back to Erika’s place. She was so accommodating even when I tried to convince my husband to let us stay an extra day!

Very nice little place! One block from the beach (could hear waves from the bedroom at night, which was so nice) and just a few blocks from the pier and Main Street. My daughters slept in the living room on the fold out couch and my husband and I in the bedroom. We had a lovely stay!
