Relaxed Seaside Accommodation

We really enjoyed our short stay at Le Theven. It was nice to stay somewhere that was not a formal Hotel and had a really nice relaxed atmosphere. The location was right next to the sea with access to several beaches and the Brittany coastal path which we used for a lovely 15km trail run one morning. The cabins are bright and airy and we found really comfortable. There were all the facilities that you would need for a short stay and the bar and restaurant gives an easy option for dinking and dining. The food in the restaurant was great quality and very tasty.

We did not have any real issues with the accommodation, just a couple of small points. It would be great to get the access code for the electric gate before you arrive. Some better signposting to locate the property would also help, or perhaps an easy to follow access map when you book. We had a hot tub which was fine but it was a bit of a faf for 20 minutes. You would be better off going for a dip in the sea which is less than 200m walk.

The location is superb and is what one goes there for, no children and total quiet and privacy, the view is stunning as is the area like so much of Brittany

We visited for a week four years ago and feel the lodge was better equipped and cleaner then It is expensive compared with other options, considering the cost it is I feel it is unusual to be expected to clean everywhere and strip the bed on check out or incur an additional fee

communication with the property ahead of our visit was brusque. their restaurant was closed the days we were there and they told us there were none nearby. In fact we found one to be open but too late for our needs.

it did not have the advertised 2 double beds (2 singles pushed together), the advertised restaurant was closed and so was the advertised bar. This should all have been made clear in advance rather than misleading customers. The property was tiny, like a small hotel room. poor value for money.

No better place for a long relaxing weekend in Brittany

The lodge was exceptional: a comfortable king size bed, a big Italian shower, a very nice kitchenette with everything we needed to do some cooking. Everything was extremely clean as well. We spent two afternoons relaxing on the rooftop where the view to the seafront is fantastic. It is the ideal place for a quiet, relaxing holiday in Brittany. The owners and staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Private parking is really a plus.

Everything just perfect. Location with seaview and access to beach and GR34. Privacy with just a few bungalows in a very nice garden. No under 18 allowed so very peaceful environment. Great breakfast, nice restaurant. Dog was allowed so great for us. Bungalows clean and comfi. Very friendly staff. I'll be back!

Only one recommendation: maybe add some vegetarian dishes to the menu?

The location is breathtaking, surrounded by nature and view of the ocean. We especially enjoyed the peaceful environment and variety of birds that nest in the area. The apartment is cosy and tiny but has any facility you need, including dishwasher. The staff is very friendly and ready to help.

Great view and terrace. You could see the sea from your bed (we stayed in a deluxe room - front row). Secluded, quiet and the cabin felt new and modern.

Too few kitchen utensils, not even a proper cutting knife or kitchen towel. WiFi does not work at all in the cabin we had. A bit too much cleaning instructions for check-out, made it feel like a “normal” camping lodge. For a price of almost €250 a night these things should work and it is petty to charge €0.5 for dishwasher tablets. Overall a great stay with wonderful view.

Prima stek voor een paar dagen, lekker rustig

Rustig gelegen, fijn dakterras. Broodjesservice is altijd prettig. Restaurant ligt leuk en biedt voldoende keuze tegen een redelijke prijs. Prima uitvalsbasis voor een paar dagen om plaatsen als Roscoff te bezoeken.

Niets, mits je rekening houdt met feit dat er geen zwembad is en het strand niet super toegankelijk is.

De ligging, het ontbijt en het restaurant.

Klein puntje van aandacht was de kraan van de wastafel in de badkamer. Deze gaat naar voren waardoor hij heel dicht bij de uitloop van de kraan komt. Lastig om dan hoed je handen of gezicht te wassen. Kan zijn dat het enkel de lodge was waar wij verbleven. Dit was in lodge 8.

Cadre idyllique, très privatif, cottage premium +++ le spa !!! très bon restaurant, personnel au soins, le silence, le GR34. Merci à Nathalie de nous avoir permis de pouvoir recharger notre voiture hybride, et petites info touristique !

Alors peut-être que notre Lodge de luxe aurait mérité une meilleur vue sur la mer ( solarium ) par rapport à celui devant nous moins haute gamme !

Endroit merveilleux, Dépaysement garanti .Lodge magnifique , nous avons passé 10 jours au calme à proximité des sentiers côtiers et de superbes plages car le lieu est très bien situé. Merci au personnel très sympathique.

-Manque d’intimité avec le personnel qui débarque -Nombre d’étoiles qui ne vaut pas les prestations -Payer en plus les 2 capsules de la chambre 1€ chacune -Dommage pas de petit déjeuner servi en lodge -Toile au dessus du jacuzzi bof quand il pleut .. (et non ce n’est pas un problème si les étoiles sont cachées) -Payer un poisson non mangé et remplacé le même prix que celui que nous devions avoir alors que y’a un écart
