Coral Apartments Port Douglas

Spacious apartment, close to town, free parking, good wifi, great aircon & fans. Very comfortable bed.

Would’ve been nice to have some tissues provided & more toilet paper. Also bathroom door doesn’t close. Sheets & couch had some stains on them. Close to main road & can see into the pool from the street

The location was great, being very close to the beach and a short 5-10 minute drive to the main street and restaurants. The apartment was very clean, newly renovated and good size for two people. The kitchen had all the utensils and crockery you would need for cooking. Ample supply of coffee, tea, sugar etc for a short stay. Great size fridge and the washer and dryer came in very handy. Hosts were excellent but only accessible via email.

No reception, so missed that personable experience you get with onsite management. The location was near the main highway so could get very noisy at times. Apartment is not noise proof so you could hear movement and chair dragging of apartments adjoining and above. This apartment was close to long term tenants in the complex so could get noisy when works were being done. Old furniture stored outside these apartments were unsightly & didn’t do much to enhance the complex and could put people off. An umbrella in the apartment would have been handy for those tropical storms and pillows could do with a refresh.

It was good value for money for our extended stay for three nights. It was a very small unit but well located to the beach and main shopping strip. It had fans in both rooms plus an air conditioner and a small balcony.

It was very compact in size. There was no dishwashing detergent provided so we had to wash the dishes in soap.
