Atana Hotel

The hotel is spacious and comfortable. Our room was large, and the bathroom had a bath and separate shower. The location was quite good, although this was hard to judge, given we're not very familiar with Dubai.

We had problems with the refrigerator and TV remote, which were quickly rectified. The bathroom basin was cracked, and the bath not as clean as it could have been.

This was my fifth visit to the hotel, and while there are still a few highlights, the overall experience has declined compared to earlier stays. A special mention to the wonderful dining staff—Rabi, Santosh, Tangim, Suchit, and one other gentleman whose name I, unfortunately, didn’t catch. They were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive, and truly made a difference to our stay. The food was quite good as well, offering good value for the price.

The coffee was really bad. Housekeeping standards have noticeably dropped. We had to repeatedly ask for basic amenities like towels, toilet paper, and a bath mat. We stayed for almost 2 weeks, had the housekeeping to come every other day and only once it was really cleaned. Reception service was especially frustrating. On four separate occasions, I called to request towels, report a non-working fridge, and ask for other essentials. Each time, I was assured someone would come, but no one ever followed up. Although the fridge was replaced after I came up to the reception directly. It's disappointing to see the quality decline, especially when I remember how impressive everything was during my first couple of visits. At this point, aside from the lovely staff at breakfast, dinner, and the pool, the experience doesn’t quite match what it once was. I may consider other options next time.

The staff were very helpful and had very good reception,especially Amina who works at the reception she was very receptive beyond my expectations . There was variety of food stuffs to eat and the food was very nice and always available and in time. I Truly commend and applaud them a lot the quick response of stuff members and cleaners. Seats and tables at the canteen were cleaned as fast as possible before the next occupants came to it and also the rooms were cleaned thoroughly and in time once a clean up request was made The service is very very excellent ans would recommend several people from my country a d many times as possible.

Room was very spaceous, with 2 bathrooms. Cleaning was done every day and bottles of water available all the time. Breakfast had many varieties, from plain spreads to saussages and a lot of fresh fruit (pineapple, watermellon...) Swiming pool was OK, for littleones, otherwise a lot of sunbeds to rest. Location is also perfect, only 10 minutes by foot from Internet City Metro.

Good value for money, good location, convenient for sightseeing, safe and good option for families, nice staff, great benefit of early check-in and late check-out which was perfect for us. We used it for a couple of nights before starting a cruise ship holiday. The metro station is walkable. The room was good size, fairly clean but dated and basic. It is a good and comfortable option if you are on a budget in Dubai and want something that will just do the job for sightseeing.

The food was OK but not many vegetarian options. The breakfast was so busy and a bit hectic. This is a large hotel with many rooms and the breakfast area was always very busy, struggling to find a table. The water in pools is cold, because the tall towers are preventing the water from getting enough sun but this is not a hotel's fault, but just sokething to consider. The waiting for lifts is long so sometimes this is annoying. The problem is busy times like for breakfast and check out. We used the kids club but I was not impressed. It was very expensive and did not feel secure in terms of getting in and out. There is no designated staff for this. In our case there was a lady who was working with pool and beach towels who then did the hour of kids club. I decided to stay with the kids as thought it was not secure enough. I would not pay and recommend again. Apart from pool, the property is missing a small playground or some other attraction for kids, if families are their big customer base.

The staff and the standards of the hotel was very good. Great value for the money and great location for our trip. Hany was great on arrival with checking in and taking our luggage up to the rooms and placing in luggage room whilst we waited for check in. The overall experience was brilliant, would highly recommend the hotel to family and also stay here again.

Room service was pretty poor and we were constantly requesting for the room to be cleaned, even then it wasn’t to a great standard.

The booking was unclear, initially canceled without warning, although later we were able to rebook. There were not enough cutlery, knives and forks for eating, there was a mess during breakfast, there were not enough seats for visitors.

We had a lovely room, and breakfast was very nice, we were always greeted by Bishnu and Arun who were always extremely helpful and made us feel at home!!

Their staff is very professional and welcoming. Rooms are very clean. Very quiet room. Location is quite central. All in all a very positive expierence.

Food could be better. Please be aware that this i a dry hotel (no alcohol).

Everything was great, the service was top notch and everybody was respectful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the area is great. There is a alsi a very good and cheap restaurant close by if the(very great) breakfast is not enough.

I, Daniel, and my partner, Xenia, checked in at a 4-star hotel called Athena in Dubai on 10.05.23 with a woman named Anika who claimed to be the manager and Anika treated us in an aggressive and hostile manner, Anika gave us a room on the 16th floor 1669 when we entered the room we were amazed at the level of dirt and filth in the room even There were stains of dirt on the walls and the ceiling and also on the curtains, there were stains of mold and moisture on the ceiling and on the walls in the bathroom and toilets, and there was also a pungent and burning smell of a chemical substance in the entire room. After we complained about the condition of the room, Anika changed the room for us to another room on the 19th floor in 1957 which was Also very dirty and a lot of dust everywhere and under the bed. Annika did not apologize after I asked her if she knew about the condition of the rooms and the feeling of sadness she gave us from the poor standard of the rooms and the level of cleanliness was unbearable. We left the room at 2pm, I realized that I had forgotten my earrings in the bathroom. I go to the reception a few hours later, the receptionist tells me that they are going to check because the room is not occupied again. I go back to them and they tell me they didn't find anything (even though between us and that moment there was no one occupying the room, only the cleaning man who did his job). We had to insist that the hotel manager come to meet us. He called the cleaning man who had cleaned our room and ask him to come to the hotel. I had to go to the airport to get my flight. Surprisingly, the manager sent me a message once he saw the cleaning man and told me that they had found my earrings. He told that he had forgotten them on his trolley, but the receptionist had checked it before and found nothing on it! The cleaning man had just stolen my earrings. No one sent my earrings back, the hotel told me that the post service cannot send gold earrings. What a beautiful lie and what a shame.
