Rodothea and Adams on the Beach, Santorini

We had instructions on how to get in the property but our Gracious Hosts were there and gave us the keys. They were so kind, they prepared a delicious welcome feast of fresh fish. It was so unexpected and delicious. My husband enjoyed cocktail hour with our hosts. The view from our balcony was majestic!! The sunrise was just as breathtaking as the shadow of the moon glowing on the water.

This has nothing to do with the hosts or the property Rodothea and Adams. The property is less than 3 miles from the airport, it took less than 4 minutes to get to the property, yet the taxi for 3 people cost $45.00. Uber prices were about the same. Public transportation via bus to the airport is approximately $2.00 and runs multiple times per day. (We did not use this option, so not sure if has stops or direct. But good information to know.) The bus stop is a short walk from the Villa and is an excellent option to take to Fira or other beautiful locations on the island.

Great location, lovely clean comfortable rooms with great facilities

Picturesque views of the sea, amazing beach combing and close to grocery and 3 restaurants. Hosts were friendly and quick to respond. Access to washing machine and well equipped kitchen was a plus although we didn't use either one.

The industrial area surrounding the property, namely the power plant. There was a lot of trash around the exterior of apartment and outside in general. There wasn’t much to do, see or shop that was in close proximity. The patio was heavily covered in sand and had not been swept in quite a while. Obviously not a huge thing but the towels were mismatched and dingy, dresser was stained and a little beat up and the drawers in the wall unit in the bedroom had a weird funky smell that got on my clothes.
