Exceptional Host Who Truly Goes the Extra Mile!

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. Shortly after checking in, I unfortunately lost my key. When I phoned the host, she immediately did everything possible to help me get back inside and avoid me being stuck outside. Even though she was out running errands, she travelled all the way back to the city and went to a locksmith to have a new set of keys cut for me. Truly above-and-beyond service! The upgraded room on the top floor itself was very comfortable, clean, and exactly as described, but what really stood out was the host’s kindness, dedication, and genuine care for her guests. She went the extra mile (and then some!) to resolve an inconvenient situation that was entirely my fault. I can’t recommend this place highly enough — both for the quality of the accommodation and for the exceptional service! Thank you, Nancy!

Quiet, enjoyable, clean place located very close to the beach!

The location is excellent, located in a quiet neighborhood and very close (easy walk) to the beach! The room was clean and fresh. Although we never met the owner/manager, all was arranged and we are able to enter easily. We enjoyed the quiet terrace as well, where we were able to enjoy sitting and eating our breakfast and just relaxing. We were able to find parking easily just a few feet away.

Exactly what I needed - quiet, clean, large bedroom with large bathroom, close to the shore

I loved the room. The access to the beach was lovely, the neighboring restaurants were excellent. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure the stay was great.

They actually charge 2€ for towel use. This without prior information at booking.com - there I expect of course bed linen and towels. Rarely experienced something like this. For this, the shower was broken and you could only bathe.

Location

Very rude owner. Dont go there! The owner was very rude calling us at 22.30 the day we arrived and in a very impolite way was asking us to turn off the light in the common are she was seeing on the camera! The tea and coffee were not free and one tea/coffee bag was for 1 Euro! Also the lady was in a very impolite way requesting to puy my bicycle from the hall (where I put it next to other bicycle) to the garden for the nights unprotected. She knocked next morning to our door to check "if all is ok"..... the WC was smelling.

Great quiete room with amazing owner and very comfy beds

Very friendly and professional guesthouse owner. Comfy beds and full quietness. We had some great sleep. The terrace is very welcoming. No issues with parking. 5 min walk to the tram station and the beach. Blackout curtains for better sleep in the morning.

There is no sink in the toilet, so you have to change rooms to wash your hands. The shower is without a door or curtain. So if you are with a group of various gender in one room it might cause discomfort.

This is place is not cheap, which is fine, its in a good location and clean enough. But after paying 340 EURO for two nights, you don't expect to find out that clean towels, which are put in the room, are 2 EURO a piece to use. Come on! Also, beware, toilet "down the hall" for the room with the terrace means its outside your room and right beside the main entrance to the house. One wonders too why they can't put a small curtain on the window here????

Sehr gemütlich, schnell am Strand und problemloses Parken.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Zimmer, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, zum Wohlfühlen. Bad und Toilette zwar auf dem Flur, da ich auf der Etage allein war, war es egal. Kostenfreie Parkplätze um die Ecke. Das Beste : nur ein paar Gehminuten zum breiten Strand, sowie zur Straßenbahn, welche nach Oostende fährt. Kontakt mit der Vermieterin über IMessage.

Die Küche hätte nicht benutzt werden dürfen, hätte man anders buchen müssen.

Ruime, smaakvol ingerichte studio met veel licht en alle nodige uitrusting. Host was erg behulpzaam en beschikbaar. Ook goed gelegen in rustige wijk maar toch dicht bij strand en restaurants. Aanrader !

Confort, accueil chaleureux, proximité de la plage, parking gratuit, wifi et télé au top, calme Chambre joliment décorée avec terrasse accessible derrière. Shampoing etc à disposition ainsi qu'un frigo et une bouilloire. Tram juste à côté pour aller à Ostende en 10 minutes pour pas cher

Seul bémol, les toilettes dans le couloir mais vraiment pas trop embêtant car chez moi je dois aussi me déplacer pour aller aux toilettes la nuit ;)

Le calme

La propriétaire nous a accusés à tort d’avoir endommagé une pièce de sa fenêtre. Le plus choquant, c’est qu’elle a bloqué 150 euros sur mon compte sans m’en informer au préalable. Je compte engager une procédure judiciaire contre elle.
