Location and cost were great. It was very quiet. The bus station is very close.

The maids, an unexpected plus, would open the windows allowing mosquitoes in, so we got lots of bites.

Very spacious, pretty and light filled appartment on an upper floor. Good sized bedrooms, comfortable beds and nice balcony off the main living area which was lovely for breakfast and pre dinner drinks. Spotlessly clean. An excellent daily clean comprising tidying up the kitchen, washing up after breakfast, providing fresh towels and making up the beds, in addition to the usual hotel standard clean. Excellent location. Very close to the bus station from where the entire island is accessible, easy walking distance to the centre of town for shops and restaurants and with an excellent bakery and supermarket very close by. Airport transfer arranged. Overall, good value at a reasonable price.

A large building is in construction directly adjacent, literally outside the bedroom windows. Works begin on weekdays at 7.30AM and while not overly intrusive as building sites go, it is impossible to sleep through hammering and drilling outside the window. It's also impossible to open the shutters while dressing or just hanging out in the bedroom as the workmen are right outside. Unacceptable that this is not mentioned on the hotel website as prospective guests have a right to be made aware of this when deciding whether to book. Poor bathroom facilities. The central living space is overlarge and the bathroom is miniscule. As there is no door on the shower the entire bathroom gets flooded, making the ground slippery and very uncomfortable until it dries out. Also, the bathroom door doesn't shut. We were just two and found it inconvenient, so I would hate to be part of a larger group sharing this tiny, inadequate bathroom. Very chilly in the evenings in April. There are air con units in both bedrooms and in the living area, however in one bedroom the unit didn't work for heating and the central living area is so large that it was ineffective. It is possibly a good appartment to keep cool in hot summer months and to be fair, good blankets were provided. The bare minimum in kitchen utensils and no microwave. Only suitable for very basic self catering. Contact with management by Whatsapp only. There is a reception but it was always closed during our visit. While communication is very good on Whatsapp, the human touch is lacking. The only person we met was the cleaning lady, who was very nice and provided some more glasses on request, but she didn't speak English.
