Everything was like new. All facilities were of quality and well maintained. The host was exceptional. Offered tour advice, an arrival drink, beautiful breakfast and a lunch sandwich for my hike. Room was warm and bathroom had everything you could ask for. This is truly a home away from home. Since I was traveling alone, it was nice to have a welcoming conversation. I would definitely come back!
While there was no smoking in the B&B there was a lingering odor when I arrived. I was concerned at first, but things seemed clean and fresh the next morning. There was never any odors in my room. I suspect the smoking came from outdoors somewhere. The bed was nicely made, but I am not partial to foam mattresses. Like all of us, I have a particular preference for mattress firmness, and it was a little soft for me. I did sleep well. I also would have liked a stand for my luggage. Perhaps it was there and I just didn't look. In my room, I also would have liked a small table for my laptop. I wouldn't say these last two items were things I disliked, maybe more of a suggestion for the owner.

The host was very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was great and we were offered to take some food from the buffet for lunch

We stayed there in the beginning of October. It was already cold outside, but when we came, Dragon, the owner, showed us our room, and made sure the heater was on there. The room and bathroom were perfect, and had everything we needed. The breakfast next morning was lovely- there were different kinds of yogurt, cereals, milk, a few kinds of juice, water, tea, coffee, fruits, delicious pastries. Dragon made omelets for us, and brought a basket of bread, a plate with cheeses and meats, and a roll of tinfoil. He suggested us to take some of these and make sandwiches for a picnic in the park we were going to visit. We made a couple of sandwiches and took them with us. We didn't have a picnic in the park- we were limited in time, because we had to drive to Zagreb airport for our flight to Berlin at 6 p.m. Neither we had time to stop somewhere on our way there for lunch. How happy we were to have sandwiches that Dragon generously offered us to make!
