About this apartment rental

Our large two-bedroom upstairs unit has a rural environment, but is less than two miles to downtown Paso Robles and within easy reach of many wineries. The rental is approx. 1500 sq. ft. and comprises the entire upstairs of the owners' home, with its own separate entrance from the large backyard. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed and attractive dormer windows. The large living room has comfy sofas, a flat screen TV (with Netflix, Amazon Prime video, Hulu) and DVD player ...a perfect place to relax after a day of wine tasting. There is one bathroom with a large shower, and a charming breakfast area which looks out over the owners' small vineyard and a view of rolling hills.
Spend the day wine tasting or taking a trip to the coast (Morro Bay, Cambria, Hearst Castle), and return to a large relaxing space to prepare for a visit to one of our excellent downtown restaurants for dinner. Sit outside at the patio table or by the fireplace, and watch the sunset as you enjoy a glass of wine.
For those unfamiliar with the Paso Robles area, we are happy to recommend local wineries, restaurants and live music venues.

What a beautiful property! We are currently touring the west coast of America and choose Sally’s place as our base while in Pasa Robles aka wine country. Had a couple of really lovely days here. We’ve mostly been in hotels so far so it was a welcome change to have so much space for our family of 4. Every home comfort you could need and the wine and muffins on arrival was a particularly nice touch. The property itself is lovely, exactly as described and pictured, super comfy beds! The area is good. Very handy for numerous vineyards and Pasa Robles itself. We had a car and it was just a short drive to anything we needed. Thank you to Sally for being such a good host. Would 100% recommend as would all my family.

This property is situated just outside Paso Robles and offers beautiful views from the yard and a homey, spacious property. I would absolutely recommend this rental for anyone visiting as it offers so much interior space for guests and can be easily accessed by car or ride-share!

The house had many great features that made our stay nice. The only issues we had were there is no kitchen sink to wash the dishes or dishwasher. The other is the A/C did not work and the weather in Paso Robles was 100+, so the house never got below the 80's for most of our stay. Opening the windows was of little help, as there was not much wind to cool off the house. The owner was very kind and did recognize the issues and refunded our last two nights. Would stay here again when in the area.

The home was perfect. It was everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Clean, comfortable, close to different wineries and restaurants. We knew we would not have a kitchen but Sarah was very accommodating in washing our cups and glasses each night. The outside fireplace was set up with wood and all we had to do is use the lighter left on the table and light it up, which we did the two nights we were there. We would definitley stat here again.

Sarah was a wonderful host. She is very responsive and accommodating. She greeted us upon a late arrival and showed us the rental space, which was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet and centralized for our vineyard excursions. Our friends left some items behind and Sarah even offered to ship them back to us. I highly recommend this rental and would stay here again in the future.

Our stay was fantastic, the owners were very helpful with checking in as we weren't sure when we'd actually arrive. Their space is very clean, plenty of space for 4 people and very comfortable. Plus the yard and out door fireplace are as relaxing as can be! The location is a few minutes from the freeway and downtown, but feels like you're out in the country. We all loved the place and would love to stay there again! Andy

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. You have your own entrance to the 2nd story of the owners house. The owners are so nice and welcoming. They are also very helpful and gave great advice for a local winery (Fratelli Perata). The owners even allowed a late checkout so we did not have to store our wine in a hot car. The space is very large. There is a main room with Direct TV. There are 2 large bedrooms. There is a small refrig and microwave. The entire place was clean and they have great attention to detail - they don't skimp. They have real Kleenex brand tissues and nice towels. The house is between the main areas of Paso Robles and Templeton. We enjoyed the countryside and it was only a 5-10 minute drive to either city. It was nice to enjoy the stars at night. We hope to stay with them again on our next trip.

We had a lovely time staying here. The house is comfortable and pretty, with a lovely view of the yard and across the valley. The location is far enough away from the "city" that we had an awesome view of the stars but near enough to be able to run right over and grab food and things we needed. The hosts were great. A short visit to introduce themselves and visit with us then we never saw them again. Totally unintrusive. Wifi was strong, phone signals were good. Would totally stay here again!

The hosts are lovely people who welcomed us as we arrived with a smile, blueberry muffins and a bottle of wine. The place was clean and spacious. There is a bbq for use but no stove or oven. It was perfect for our needs and plenty of room to spread out!

We booked for two nights to explore Paso Robles wine country and the Pacific coast. The property is fantastic with great facilities , a good location and very friendly hosts. The bird life alone made this trip with humming birds flying all around us. Armed with the owners knowledge we headed out to do some wine tastings and had a brilliant day , the scenery is amazing. We also took a trip to Cambrai to see the elephant seals and a herd of Zebras!!! Magical Highly reccomended and we hope to make a longer return to explore this area more

Pat and Sally greeted us as soon as we arrived and provided a tour of the property. An abundance of throw pillows and blankets made the space cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed wine and cheese in front of the outdoor fireplace that was ready for us to light. This is a perfect spot for a long weekend getaway and we hope to return soon. Blue House Winery enhances any weekend or extended stay in Paso Robles with very comfortable accommodations at a great rate. But the best parts are its hosts Sally and Patrick whose personal touches to the rental and the extended outside living spaces make Blue House Winery so pleasurable! Everything is clean and neat with updated furnishings, wifi access and TV entertainment. Lots of space and no interference from the main house offers lots of privacy. We came with friends from Concord California to see a concert at Vino Robles. Sara and Patrick were delightful hosts. They showed us around the rental had fresh scones and wine waiting upon our arrival. We were so centrally located to wineries, the amphitheater and downtown Paso Robles.
