    Had a really pleasant stay at The Hammock Hotel with my mum! The location was fantastic, right in the heart of District 1, making it so convenient to explore the area on foot. What made the stay even better was the friendly and helpful staff, especially Paul, Dio and Daisy, who attended to me during my stay. Despite being a small hotel, they really do offer quite a lot! Daily breakfast was provided, the washing machine and dryer were clean and well-maintained, and guests had access to a rooftop pantry stocked with snacks, beer, tea, instant noodles and drinking water. One funny thing though, we almost missed the hotel as the reception counter is actually located inside a convenience store! There's also a nice café next door where you can hang out if you have some time to spare before check-in or after check-out. The bathroom was generally clean, although there were some visible mould spots around the sink and shower area. Nothing too major, but definitely something that could be improved. If there's one thing I'd point out, it would be the soundproofing, or rather, the lack of it! Haha. You can practically hear everything, from the cars and motorbikes honking along the streets to your neighbours opening and closing their doors. Thankfully, the hotel provides earplugs upon request, and they worked surprisingly well for me! Last but definitely not least, a special mention to the elderly gentleman working as the security guard. He was such a gem! Always warm, smiley and ready to help. He assisted us with our luggage, helped us communicate with our Grab drivers, and was genuinely so kind throughout our stay. Overall, a lovely experience with great hospitality, thoughtful amenities and an unbeatable location. The little imperfections didn't take away from the warmth and comfort of our stay. Would definitely return if I'm visiting Ho Chi Minh City again!

    Wonderful stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vietnam. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip! ❤️

    Blankets had old blood stains. Shower leaked bad into room with big floor tiles. I slipped and landed on tailbone and pulled a thigh muscle. Mentioned to staff. They did nothing.
